How did you end up liking the chang mai, something worth running again?

That’s seeded flower from the “green pheno” Chiang Mai, she had the best structure in terms of yield and flower morphology, incredible resistant flowers, showed lots of vigor all thru the life cycle.
14-16 weeks from first pistil and lots of leaf on the flower (I don’t mind).

Dry bag smells of green tea and dry leaf, and grinding the flower crisp green apple, mango, sweet tropical fruits. I grow full organic so I smoke it with few weeks cure and she has a great taste. The high is upper but not euphoric, not super trippy or lethargic, so far no come down or narcotic effect. Not super potent but it’s also seeded flower.

Flower shows silver hues once fully dried and cured.

I would grow it again, and know that I understand how they behave and what they like in their soil (lots of air pockets and less water retention).

I could try a run with the remaining pure Chiang Mai seeds and the new f1 crosses coming out of this run, green pheno and pearl pheno crosses.

I have a golden tiger v3 thats chang mai pheno, cures to rotten meat but has the lemon green tea to start, also not tons of euphoria but seems to get the job done for me especially the outdoor one, good to know that the pure chang mai might not have the euphoria either, much appreciated.

It's a day smoke for sure, helps me get the ball running "get shit done" mood. I keep 3 clones of the green pheno, hopefully I can manage to help them survive the winter.

I heard the golden tiger packs power in the smoke. I feel the hybrids can go powerful and the more pure landrace phenos tend to be lower potency but a wholesome high (mind + emotion/vibration).

Thanks brother, yeah its a gamble sometimes with landrace genetics hit n miss or grand slam. Yowie smoking fire bro, the cure just making them flowers smell even better, its so resinous that every J looks like a hash joint

It’s was a great 2 years for this project, it’s may now hold some peace and quiet as the results are still being tested. If this is a result of environmental factors not helping the plants thrive I still have a chance next time to see if it’s worth the shot.
The flavours are there intense passion fruit smell, sweet tangy notes, tropical smoothie, it’s vibrant smell. I love the smell.

Flowers decreased in density compared to the 2023 flower, I wonder if this flower today is a result of phenotypic plasticity shaped by high humidity and cold temperatures??
The smell is there, the size is not, still to try the high.
