Growing only the fasciated stem

I've had a few fasciated stems over the years, and I usually just cut them off and move on. I've also seen some crested buds during flower—they were normal buds, just flat. Honestly, they might have been even better than regular buds, contrary to some online reports.
Has anyone experienced poor quality with fasciated buds?
Has anyone cut off a fasciated branch and tried cloning it?
Has anyone had success taking clones from a fasciated branch and ended up with fasciated clones?

anyway im gonna exhaust way too much energy into and veg this out for the next 100 day(4/20) then plant her in the ground.

i think i will cut the entire plant down except the one branch that i orientated to be in an ideal position if it becomes the main leader.

Very interesting friend. I have grown outdoor plants in the wilderness that were fascinated. I noticed it was mostly the big Sativa from Mexico. Keep posted.

So should i cut the rest of the plant or use it to "feed" the fauceted stem?
Right now i stripped down the rest of the plant and have bonsai wire starting to spiraling it around the flat stem.

It it a freakshow plant? I’ve had fasciated plants before but not with leaves like that.
I’d keep clones, it’s unrecognisable, perfect stealth plant.

Its a freakshow hybrid. I crossed (Freakshow x banana daddy auto) x ( freakshow) this is a photo sensitive hybrid.
About 5/30 came out freaky. the other went from slightly freaky to normal.
i would assume f2s would put out some autos.
You want to give em a go ?

Ah, that explains the leaves. Probably shorter flowering than the parent freak being semi auto, you might get a big early freak if you put it out.
I’d keep clones of the other 4 f1 freaks for putting outdoor each year if the smoke is any good.

What was the gender ratio of the other 4?

the other 4 were males lol. i didnt make f2s of that bx but i do have lines of-
bare with me here:F1= freakshow x banana daddy
(f1 bx bd) x (f1 bx fs)
f1 bx bd x f2 autoflower
f2 x f2 auto
f2 x f2 photo

The faceted stem came from over 400 seedlings popped.

The freaky people said it took them ages to find a male freak, everyone seems to be getting them now. Makes it a bit easier to reproduce freaks I guess but might’ve been better to have it gender specific for auto so you could select the females early before putting them outside.

Here's a nice pic of a fasciated bud on a plant I grew couple of grows back, didn't smoke any different that I could tell.

Now imagine only that arm vegged out for 100+ days.
Gotcha, mine wa caused by a snapped branch that healed but branch was deformed and flat after the break, then in flower the bud on that branch was also flat. I washed, dried and cured it along with the rest and to me it smoked the same. Interesting idea you have going there, would like to follow along. (y)
