Growing by your self sucks

Sorry for those folks in Placer County, seems like yall got screwed! What a damn bunmer. Anyways, been a little down and out. Have a total of 3 plants start flowering a little early on me. Planted too soon and didn't have light schedule right. Seems like I should have went with 6 to 10 pm not 5 to 9. This my second season so I'll gladly admit stupid mistakes. Either way plants are the biggest ive grown yet and have since snapped out of it. A few are doing great and are huge to me so I'm content with it. Going to top dress with some left over soil and mulch this weekend. Going to try and get second cages up but we will see how that goes.

What's some of my peers IPM regimes if you guys don't mind sharing?

Check out the pic I got of a praying Mantis chowing down on a flys head! It was chillin on top of Rugburn OG just snackin away!

Is it possible to top dress your plant too much? What's a healthy top dressing? 1 inch? 2? Was informed that top dressing too much can suficate your root zone.

I raise lots of chickens here. So I topdress with chicken poo. I just fill a wheelbarrow and shovel it around the bottom of my plants. if they seem like they are getting to much I just water heavy. The reason I use chicken manure is it is free and organic.

Gorgeous plants!, coincidence I just picked up a couple bags of composted chicken manure and my alfalfa bail for mulch. The chicken manure will be mixed in with left over soil I have for top dressing.

This year is going to be an experiment for me. since I'm using all seeds found on my DHN Chem 4,s and DHN blue dream. I think one of my chem 4's must have put out a pollen sack and seeded both the blue dream and the chem 4. I have two in the ground and a few as backups. they are growing faster than the clones did. super healthy too.Been hot down here. 95 today. I have one plant that is half blue dream half chem 4. should be interesting.

Damn I been slackin. I'll get it up to date shortly. Here's a couple. About to dust off the brewer and get to bubblin this weekend. How's my boy 415 doing though! Post pics yet? Pic of all them is over a week old. Just liked the pic. That's my view while I enjoy beer. There's a few missing but I'll get better pics tomorrow

Anyone care to talk teas? Myself I like to run 1 cup kelp 1 cup alfalfa and 2 tablespoons molasses per 5 gal for about 20 hours. Sometimes I add silica and fulvic. But I like to foliar those two also. Sometimes I just run EWC and molasses. This year they have only gotten one of each. I'd like to brew more often but kinda skeptical on them.
Any insight on the process or recipes would be awesome help.

I have a 45 gal brewer and usually water before giving 5 gals to each plant then watering it in slightly.

Plants look great, OD. Got any pics of your tea brewer? I have a small one, but I'm curious as to what your 45 gallon tea brewer looks like.

HB.

Nothing special. 45 gal garbagel can. Elevated so it's gravity fed off a cooler lol. I use two disk air stones. Forgot what pump I use but it turns the water really well. Costs about 120 bucks to make.

Your plants are Looking awesome!!. Major improvements each season. Great to see a dude willing to learn from others and put it to use. Pics upright are good too. I have four chems in the ground and a bunch in pots for backup Weird to grow chem 4 from seed. The one thing I was thinking of is since you holes are surrounded by lawn the holes might not dry out as quick, but whatever your doing keep it up.

Word of advice never cut down an agave plant unless you have a full hazmant suit with gloves. I learned the hard way four days ago and got the sap in my eyes. had to go the ER department with serious eye burns. Some of thew worst pain I have ever dealt with. Peace
