Just thought I would throw up some pics of my room. It's a bit smaller than 6x10x8. I've got a small area on one side of the room as a veg area, and the rest of the room is my flower area. I have 4 4' t5's in the veg area and 2 1000w hps in the big area. I built the automation system myself and it's accessable via the web and notifies me with an email to my phone when things get out of whack. Just been a project I have been working on for a few months now. Just recently that I've been ready to share pics.
Automation system controls and monitors lights, temp, Co2, and RH right now. I might get frisky and add soil moisture monitoring at some point.
Enjoy for what it's worth. These are the "still under construction" photos!
Plant and Electronics Porn! Just for you!
Here was the room two weeks ago. Notice the White Widow in the corner! G13 in front. One little 1k HPS lighting the whole room.
Here is the white widow now! She has grown double (at least) and has 2k HPS above her and the others.
Here is the G13 now. Lookin' good too!
Here are my three newest g13's to come into the room. Lights are still on 18/6 so that the others can get as tall (or taller) than the White Widow before I flip the timer.
Now here comes the nitty gritty! The following pictures are as the room was constructed, and of the control wall. Not as tidy as I want it, but you get the idea!
During Construction of the new Veggie Hotel
Veggie Hotel Complete
Looking at the finished front panel. Temp, Co2, and RH all on the front.
Closeup of the Co2 Sensor. It has a display! I didn't order the display model, but when it came... I didn't complain!
More pictures to come soon! All of the venting is complete, but couldn't get a good pic while the lights were on!
I dig all this kind of stuff. Would like to one day do a DIY project using an off the shelf microcontroller instead of the controller I am using now just to make it more available to the masses. The cost of the programming software alone is enough to make it out of reach for most.
