My mix is on the lighter side, so that I can liquid feed with organic juices

1 bag local organic soil
1 bag Fox Farms Ocean Forest
~4 cu. ft.

1 cup blood meal 12-0-0
2 cup bone meal 6-12-0
1 cup kelp meal 1-0.1-2
1 cup alf alfa meal 2-0-3
1 cup dolomite lime
1 cup organic all purpose vegetable mix 5-5-5

3 gallons perlite
3 gallons earthworm castings

This mix is a little low on K, but I usually supplement K in my blooming formulas throughout flowering... FoxFarms Big Bloom, Earth Juice Bloom, and Pure Blend Bloom at low to medium strength throughout flowering. Slight molasses tea on the final week, 1 tablespoon of Black Strap molasses in 2 gallons of water...

I bubble my nutrients overnight in a rubbermaid before hand feeding them to each plant... like I said, this was a lot of work. But I have never been happier growing; organic gardening is very satisfying.

Average per plant yield was 14g
total dry ~ 3.5

I'm growing hydroponically now, but I will be making a run back to soil soon, got some Purple Erkle in 10 gallon organic pots and I can't wait to flower them... :]

what are the filled dimensions of the grow bags. height, width, length?

These grow bags are about the best containers you can use for an organic SOG. They hold a lot of medium(2-3 gallons), and they are very compact. These here are about 7"x7". I had 50-55 plants on each bed.. 27ish per 600w light. I vegged roughly 10 days in FFOF amended with organic dry fertilizers... watered every 3-4 days... fed once or twice with PureBlend Bloom, Liquid Karma... and I out yeilded any hydro run I have done to date.

Still learning hydro... 1 year later.
