I'm wondering what kind of yields most people get with a 400 watt setup

I recently did 7.3 ozs in 40" x 40" Homebox under a 400 watt HPS. It was four plants in 3 gal pots of coco, hand watered. I could have easily fit two more plants and did very little to optimize that canopy. I'm sure others have done better...

Thanks for the reply, I'm hoping to be able to yield around 7-10 oz's with the 400 setup. Going to ventilate the hood to keep the heat regulated, probably just going to plant them in a soiless mix like sunshine 4. Cant wait to see what these strains can do

YES! just set up my 3x3 hydro hut mini today! I went out today and bought -a 400w digital lumatek, - Xtrasun hood, - 250w MH bulb to run for now with the lumatek,-canfilter for my 4" inline 165cfm fan. It's all up and running now and temps are staying around 80 degrees, perfect! I also have a 95 watt CFL in there with a batwing reflector.

My plan is to start some strains, ive got BOG sour bubble and BOG sweet cindy to start with. I'll be starting seeds this week and posting my pics asap, I'm stoked to work with these genetics!

I am using a hydro hut 4x4 silver edition with a 1000watt hps air cooled.This run I have 9 bubbs kush and 9 green crack also a sssdh,white mustang x amnesia haze/arne,snowdog x amnesia haze/arne and a C99.

Well here is my setup people,

These pics were taken a couple days ago, pictured is 2 trainwrecks from a local dispensary. Just transplanted the day the photos were taken. I also just germed 10 of Bogs sweet cindys, 8 of the 10 popped and they are also in the tent now, just waiting for them to break the surface of the rockwool cubes

from what ive found personally...... greners.com has the dopest prices on tents. i love my GL80 ive been rockin for about a year. some sweet ass PPP

I found the same exact one on ebay for like 10 bucks cheaper..

I just want a small tent to keep a few mother plants. ill just have some floros and or my 150watthps..

sorry to answer 3 months after you asked, but.....

i use the 3x3 by those guys (400w and can filter hung inside). Got it in Feb or March of last year. I think i paid around $100 (shipping included). No problems so far. In fact, i'm gonna get another 3x3 for veg and a another smaller one for moms and cuts.
I added extra velcro around the vent flaps and the zipper flaps to make them close more securely.

Here is inside my tent a few days ago, the 7 BOG sweet cindys are 30 days old in the photo, the other plants are 2 bigger trainwrecks and some smaller TW clones.

personally i have a homebox, i did check out a few other tents that where set up at my local grow shop.

the home boxes are by far the most solid ones i've seen. altho i need to say i mostly saw .eu brands so maybe there are some really good ones in .us that would be worth ordering.

they tend to be slightly more expensive, but hey its a hobby, so its going to cost me a few bucks.

and yes the cooltube will be hooked up later, for now i runs fine without cooling.

hey, also...what kind of weight do you guys pull off your tents in the ones that are 4x4 and smaller. i've only had maybe 6 runs in the tent, a few of them getting screwed up and ditched - but from the good ones i got a little less than a pound between mixed strains/sizes, in my 3x3 hydrohut. i have yet to do a run with only one strain all the same size in same size pots. i thought my issue was that I wasn't vegging them enough and not taking full advantage of the vertical room inside the tent - i was tossing them in around 6-8", but now i've started putting them in around 12" tall and I think it will make a difference.
