Grow tents and heat , Hps or led ?

hey all I'm planning on starting up again in a different way . I'm interested in a grow tent , probably gorilla, something like a 3x3 or 4x4 . I have as 600 hps right now . It has an air cooled reflector but I'm really worried about heat. That thing does get hot for sure . I do have all the proper fans for venting the room and light but I'd have this in an area that is about 72* year round. Now if I went led, well that's another can of worms. I'd have the expense of initial cost , plus so much research to do. I'm not even sure what wattage would compare to a 600 . Also there's now debate over spectrum,, blah blah blah. Basically I'm just asking those who have felt with tents and a higher wattage light if it is truly possible to keep it about 10* over ambient or do I just say screw it and go the led route .

I ran dual 600's in a 5x5 and could keep it less than 10° above ambient with a single 6" 400 cfm exhaust and a small 4" intake.

I ran 2 4x4 with 600s in the hoods. 6" can fan just for lamp cooling and each tent had its own exhaust fan 6" for fresh air exchange. I was able to add an additional 250 or 400, drop for vertical just for more lumens. And only when it got 80 outside did I spike to the low 90s. Ventilation and automation is key.

I have had 2 1000 waters in a 5 x 10 tent with no issues.
As long as your ambient temps are low enough and the room they are in large enough to dissipate the extra heat.

I heat with grow bulbs in the winter time, why waste electricity on space heaters when you could grow bigger?
I am lucky to be completely legal though, no added risk for me to be bigger.

This sounds good. I was planning on a 3x3 with my 600. I'd like to go with a 4x4 but I don't think it would be enough watts psf. I believe more is better there.
