Edit: I just noticed the one you posted earlier is 220 volt. Do you need a 220 volt controller?

Yea i mean i could plug the duct fan into into and control the speed by turning the wheel

Okay. The one I linked to is for 120 volts. Perhaps someone from Europe will chime in with a favorite to recommend. If you do a Google search for "220 volt fan speed control" or "240 volt van speed control" you will find a few. They're a bit more expensive than the 120 volt version.
