The problem with that especially a space that small would separating the veg and flower areas especially from light leaking from one to another.I would forget the perpetual idea and use the space for vegging then flowering.Or even better have a different area altogether for clones and veg and use the entire shed for flowering. It really depends on your goals. Are you trying to grow your own stash and that's it?If so just veg for 3-6 weeks depending on ceiling height then throw them into flower and wait until the next go around. If your goal is to take cuts and maybe make a few bucks, you really need a separate area for vegging and cloning. Not to say the environments cannot be separated in a small area like that,it would just be difficult.Depending on your yield goals, vegging plants and clones can be done with simple fluorescent T-12's or T-8's or larger flourescents and moved into the flower room with HIDs or LEDs.

Hey floridian thanks for that :) I'm gonna look at building a cab inside the shed as I have 6ft of height to play with. But I never thought of t-12 lights or t8s for that matter :) I enjoy growing in coco

Yea I jumped to a few conclusions, personally I wouldn't veg with flo's unless I really had nothing else to use,It's great tp start them off though.I've seen it work for vegging smallish plants which you do want if 6 ft is what you're working with.I would just veg and flower in the same cab unless you have another area to use, trying to seperate environments in a small space I imagine would be a bitch.Maybe someone with that kind of experience will chime in

Insulate. Build a wall with a sliding pocket door if necessary.. but Ya basically I'd build it just like any room... dependent on budget the lec n lep lights would be perfect but the ain't cheap... air-cooled 600 dimable ballast may be better for budget .

You'll need three feet of space for walking around. I would use 3*8. Section that to two 3*3 & a 2*3 for rooting cuttings and seeds two seedling trays side by side with thermostats on heat mat. Don't use heat mat for seeds if the box stay around 65-70 always, the seeds don't like the extra heat.
The others are veg and flower. Link the two together to pull hot air from the veg into the flower for dark time. Let the babies room air circulate from the veg side so it's always warm using pc fan or 4" ducting fan on thermostat. And keep the veg lights on always unless it's hot during the day then timer them off for six hours in the heat of the day. Run the flower at night and exhaust it outside underneath the shed. Dig out a hole and fill with netting so the humidity will condense while mixing with the air in the hole. Don't over ventilate, use a speed controller for your fan. Even a dimmer placed in the power cable. Keep thermometers with daily memory inside each area including the walking area. Adjust your fan speed to compensate. Use two t5 2' for clones. Use T5 lights in the veg if it's hot but if not too hot then use a 400w mh for veg. The cost per watt will pretty much equal out because you will need 8 t5 to cover that well.
Put the foam insulation on the floor everywhere. 400-600 for the flower. You can use 600 if cold place and your wiring is 20amp. If 15 amp and hot place then use 400w HPs.
Buy tents if you can afford. Two 3*3 and one 2*3.
One 6"fan with speed controller. Electronic digital ballasts, even cheap ones will work fine. Small reflectors to fit easy. Maybe a bat wing for the veg placed up a little high. Ducted 6" for the flower, pull air from one side of the reflector to exhaust the entire room.
Buy a light timer for flower that has an over temp sensor just Incase you are at work and the shed gets really hot. Like 90.

Use simple nutrients and coco. Canna Coco is the best for its simplicity. Just use A &B with a little rhizotonic for transplanting, and a little pk 13/14 for a couple waterings during flowering. It's clean and simple to use and if problems happen you just flush the plants good then feed them again.
Place the clone area three feet off the ground and you can use the bottom area to dry your plants after trimming or for storage of coco and nutes.
Take a couple cuts from veg plants as you put them into flower, then by the time the flower plants are done you'll have full size plants ready to flower. If you are not happy with the flowers you are getting. Cull the clones and add some seed plants. That way you can try new plants and keep the ones you like best.
That's how i used to have my setup. It will give you plenty of smoke. And it's perpetual so you don't have to mono crop. I had some long flowering sativa in the back and would rotate out the front indica plants before the sativa are ready. If your veg plants are going to overgrow your area, pinch the tops so they branch out. That will buy you extra time for the flowers to finish up.

I'be been growing in a shed for the last few years, i veg on a small 3'x4' table to start then finish veg and flower in the large sectioned off side of the shed 10x12 shed by the way. I just use panda film to sepertate the two and a tarp zipper. No light leaks, it's been working pretty good. I run two 1000w for flower.
