Saw it pop u on Instagram last night from dna, my only thought was just fuck man, the best laid plans and all that.

From a construction standpoint it looks almost impossible. I just can't imagine that kind of failure, I have never once seen anything like it. Seems the whole building would be compromised in a bad way before that would happen. Maybe just maybe that used to be a huge window or something? And they just framed and stood a wall but didn't quite attach it? Nothing is ever isolated from everything else like that. Siding would lap over, top plate, some kind of connection from those interior walls, all kinds of stuff.

I wonder where the pics were taken because that's unusual construction technique. It looks like the exterior walls were made up as prefab panels & fastened on.

There's one place where the siding has a vertical seam. There's no reason for it otherwise.

A little shoddy workmanship years ago & it might have just fallen off on its own. Likely not. Likely a little blasting. That wall was the weak point.

Helluva wake up call.

In the second pic, right side, there's a view of the sky through a window frame-no roof behind . Quite weird.

Lots of open door frames, too, like the place is semi-derelict. Maybe they were squatters stealing power who just walked away.
