Howdy Cannagraphers :)

Welcome to the Grow Of the Season Nominations – Summer / Fall Harvest 2013!

Nomination Rules:

Here are the Factors/Criteria to consider when submitting your nomination!

-You will have to provide a reason for the given nomination as well as a link to the report/journal.
-It must be a grow completed within the Season.
-It should be well documented with photos from each stage of growth.
-Harvested pics should be included - doesn't need to be cured.

Other factors to consider:
  • The quality of the information in the report.
  • The frequency and presentation of updates (weekly updates?).
  • The quality of multimedia (photos/video) macros etc.
  • The design setup explained, DIY details can make for a really great thread.
  • Unique setup and design.
  • The amount of interest in the grow.
  • Strain review.
  • Smoke report.
  • Replying to all questions on the thread.
  • The end result, quality of the harvest.

These are the criteria to be used to judge a grow journal. So it's NOT JUST THE END RESULT, nor is it based
solely upon how the plants look, how big they are, how well they smoke. It's about how well the grower did
documenting the grow and other factors like innovation or responding to questions.

This thread will stay open until the end of December. At that time, administrators and moderators will pick the final
entries in order to start a Poll where users can vote for their favourite grow!

Good luck everyone!

Let's get this party started! :dance013:

Perhaps november or december would be a better time for the outdoor growers ... august is just stretch time ... things are just really getting rolling in august .... we will see great flowers all the way through to november. Harvest should be important information also ... these big grows could not exist without plenty of organization for trimming and all .... lets see how things go for everyone. Would be terrible to choose a beautiful grow then find out the grower couldnt get it out in the end. Lots more to these big outdoor grows .. then just growing it ... its all for not without plenty of organization to harvest.
How can we choose the best grows in august when the crops arent ripe and the work is less then half done ?

I would like to nominate for this contest LouDog420 and his "Lou's testing lab" thread.
A talented expert grower goes vertical to test during summer some of his own crosses as well as some other test varieties.
Lots of descriptions and details, beautiful picts, weekly updates. smoke reports and dried bud shots... He successfully meets all the criteria:)
Harvest should be completed in few days.
A real pleasure to follow. Very well done!

Cali outdoor grows are far from done yet. This is for the summer nominations ... Cali outdoor grows would be for Fall nominations. A big part of a large successful outdoor grow in Cali is getting the plants down and manicured ... lets see how things turn out :)
