well the city may just dry up and blow away... the way I see it, the growers spend a shit load of money keeping their grows up, not to mention the money they spend locally for every day needs...the growers will take the show elsewhere, its inevitable...

The state, local and fed gov are so fucking broke they are willing to try everything and anything to generate revenue, while all along the answer is right in front of them....LEGALIZE HERB across the board and watch the revenue roll in...but they would rather suck the life out of the people instead of letting them gain some ground...

All I gotta say folks is gear up and hunker down cuz its gonna be one bumpy ass ride in 2013...

Rent two places next to each other or get a separate meter for your "shop" building and wire it into the house for part of the lights...set up a backyard machine shop and just use it for the grow...think or move...

THIS needs BELLS. While the state ratchets back monies it pays out to localities, localities still have bills to pay. Well, let's get creative, yeah?

My question is this: Why did they go for this kind of taxation scheme instead of the per square foot taxation scheme Rancho Cordova passed last year? Then again, does it really matter? People are being taxed for doing something legally in their own homes and not at point of sale or when money changes hands.

In other words, you've got to pay for your 'right' to grow... or is it a privilege? I consider it a right, m'self.

I dont live here but if I did I would go buy a huge generator, use up to the 600-700 monthly limit then switch over

I think it's funny that so many people think legalization is going to help, legalization will open the flood gates of fucked up scheme style taxes such as this. The govt and corp America will destroy this plant in my opinion.
