Grow house rental....

If the house is in the "ghetto" and you don't plan on really living there your biggest concern will probably be burglars imo. If you don't plan on actually living at the location and don't have a large grow you might consider renting a condo or apartment. I know people say condos/apartments are bad because of shared walls transferring noise and smell but if you have a tent with carbon filter and digital ballasts and oversized fans dialed down with a speed controller the noise and smell shouldn't be an issue. Apartment/condos with indoor hallways where you have no neighbors able to see you walk in and out of your front door is key because neighbors will never know if your home or not. Nowadays with all the indoor bust news I'd say people are more suspicious of neighbors that are never home and there just might be that one loser of a neighbor that has nothing better to do than sit on the porch and speculate on what the neighbors are up to.

I know everyone prefers these digital ballasts but if you have magnetic ballasts outside the tent, they would heat the house somewhat and not screw with anyone's cable. The heating might help cut the electric bill in the winter and help keep the pipes from freezing. So maybe you could run the thermostat on the heater at 50 instead of 65 or something...problem with apartment is if there is a problem, others will know about it before you do and that could mean cops there when you arrive. Especially with hydro and water leak possibilities. A small two bedroom house a few miles out of town might be cool if the land owner is not there daily at odd hours. Might want to set up a game camera for a week before you rent it. Might work in town also.
