Grow house rental....

What precautions need to be taken to find a indoor grow spot and not have your name linked to it in any way?
I understand renting from someone who uses a broker because chances are the owner is out of state and that is the whole reasoning behind them using a broker?
Also paying in cash for everything.. Can Utilities be paid in cash so no name is attached? Or would you need a fake identity (Name,social etc) cause then your dipping into fraud and not just cultivation..
Reason being I currently am In a relationship with a girl who is I guess you could say a "Goodie two shoe" She is not anti-weed or anything but just dosent approve of growing or selling in any way. I've been growing for the past 4 years, 2 of which I've been with her without her having any clue. I own a burn phone so anyone I do any sort of "Services" for only has that number and not my primary so if she happened to do any snooping she would not come up with anything.
So where are the ideal places to do this? I'm not in a med state but the laws are still pretty relaxed for the most part. Finding a place in the city where me not being at the house all the time would be the least of their worries?

Brah, get a seasonal rental. The landlords for those places don't give a crap because they usually get to keep the security deposits from frat boys. Constantly differing vehicles, and people coming at odd hours is to be expected.
You could even tel the GF that your renting a ski/snowmobile house with buddies...

around here you can pay utilities anonymously at money mart or a cheque cashing business.

look for houses with a bit of neglect, it usually means the landlord doesn't come by or isn't very attached to the property.

Yeah im in the process of looking for a place where utilities are not included so the electric bill never has to get to the landlord. Most landlords would ask for some sort of id and possibly run a background check thougg... Right? That could be an issue.

The girlfriend wouldn't know about this.. I've been growing for 5 years without her having a clue. I cover my tracks well. What do you guys think about grow trailers? I know there well over priced and could be built for cheaper but if you ever had to pack up and go it would only be a trailer hitch away! Haha. Just run your service right to the trailer.. In some states having a trailer in your yard/driveway is just as common as having a car in your driveway.

You can pay your utility bills in cash, however here in So Cal, you're gonna need a name and SS# to setup the account. I think you may be able to get around the SS# with a HUGE cash deposit, but don't quote me on that.

Pretend its a work travel arrangement to the landlord, so they know you're not going to use it much. The electric company has no idea what you tell your landlord and vice versa.

I gotta add if you get caught, no offense James Bond, , its not like they won't know who's growing the house full of weed they've been watching for a while, and probably followed you to... Lets be honest, even the idea of not being able to keep security tight enough is a reason to rethink the plan.

Ive never understood the cover story thing... why u gonna chit chat with people u dont know anyway. i live in the country, but even if i didnt id never talk to my neighbors. mind your own buisness and people will mind theirs... n if they dont be a dick. u dont owe anyone a fuckin explanation of where ur at or what u do.

my thinking is, out of sight, out of mind. dont be loud or obnoxious, dont interfere in others lives and u r a ghost. people dont even see you. why enter their lives with some fabricated story, just to appease the curiosity they never wouldve had, had u kept to ur self.

I hear you guys on not keeping the place a dump.. This isn't my first grow so I know the basics I've just never really ran an 'op' or had a place strictly for growing. I did a little research and I think you can get utilities without giving out a social you just need to place a hefty deposit which you get back after so many consecutive on time payments. This house is in the "ghetto" I guess you could say soo my place will bring the least attention out of any in the area since people are in and out of everyone else's houses all day long. Would another good precaution to take is to park an unregistered car in the driveway so it looks like someone is there? Or just come and go when I need to and not worry about it.
