I only had about 50% success on my first attempt but at least it gave me backups of Lucifer OG f2, OG Chem, Chem 4 & ECSD.
Unfortunately, I had no success cloning CGS's GDP S1... Not a root bump to be found amongst 10.
Any ideas why that strain would give this result given the same sterile technique, cloning environment, etc?

yea the L13 roots so slow sometimes....thats why i take extras and if they dont pop within 2 weeks i just toss them...cull the weaklings!

after every run i hose it out then take off the jets and clean them. then run bleach and water in it for an hour. then run just plain water for 10 mins, empty and fill again with plain water for another 10 mins to rinse. i clean all the pucks in bleach and water too. you have too keep it clean or your stems go soft. everything roots in this thing...lol.

Well then you are doing exactly what the manufacturer suggests dude. Anyone that doens't clean their EZ cloner like this atleast once in a while will have issues. Maybe not every batch if you are cloning all the time.....but I wouldnt let it go more than 3-4 weeks without a complete bleach clean.
When those things are clean and dialed in on PH.......they kick serious butt.

Yeah everyone I have seen who has run an EZ-Cloner has been really happy with it. I want one but cant bring myself to pay full price for one. May have to break down and do it. Makes it easy to fit a good amount of cuts at once.

Crap. I had the same "ZOMG AWESOME" ----> "WTF?" experience w/ my bucket cloner.. The WTF came after bleach running through it, h2o2, scrubbing, etc, .. 
Someone did suggest a while back (sorry to whomever you are - memory ain't like it used to be..).. To throw a smidgen of pool chlorine in the mix - while rooting.
Makes a smidgen of sense to me. Haven't tried it, though. Just broke out the damned heat mat and dome, .. Which always takes up more square footage than I care for, but..

just checked and have roots on louis xiii and legend in just 6 days

Been reading as many pages as I can to try and figure out how you guys are sharing seeds ... is the bay a collective in the SF area? I am a legal medical grower in the SD area but the only access to seeds and cuts I have is Europe or the BS mite and aphid filled clones the dispensaries around here try to pawn off for $15/plug (not always rooted, either!). Hurting for good genes.
If you are in Cali and can't find good stock...that's crazy.

how are you in cali and cannot find good genetics? I am on the west coast as well and while there are a lot of shitty growers with bad genetics there are also real ones who are more then happy to give u seed or let you run some CLEAN CLONES..keep looking
