Shrom X ECSD - Should I pop a seed? This sativa dom lady sounds tasty. To bad its a fem though.

I couldn't find any info on the origins of these freebies. I came across a thread talking about a species called Shroomy Deez a very limited run by Rez around 09' but I cannot confirm whether this is the same stock or someones closet creation.

Those freebies were a homemade cross from someone on Cannetics

i never hear anyone talk about tga genetics. chief, you got any thoughts on any of subcools strains? i tried the querkle and loved it.

also, what do you think of his super soil recipe:

2 large bags of a high-quality organic potting soil with coco fiber and mycorrhizae (i.e., your base soil)
6.25 to 12.5 lbs of organic worm castings
1.25lbs or 20 ounces steamed bone meal
1.25lbs or 20 ounces bloom bat guano
1.25lbs or 20 ounces blood meal
3/4 lbs rock phosphate
3/16 cup or 3 tablespoons Epsom Salts
1/8 cup or 2 tablespoons sweet lime (dolomite)
1/8 cup or 2 tablespoons azomite (trace elements)
1.5 teaspoons powdered humic acid

store in plastic garbage cans. water it down, cook it for four weeks. pour it out, stir it up. age for another 2 weeks.

mix it up with a base soil as it is hot...heavy feeders can takes 75% or more super soil...i have seen some only need 40%...

I'm honored that you'de ask, but I'm not an expert but I do like everyone have an opinion.

I just spent almost an hour typing you a nice reply and the server timed out and I lost everything. totally bummed. :moon: haha

Here is a very short version of what I said:

-Its alright
- very complicated
- remove blood and bone meal so it isn't so "hot", replace with alfalfa meal, kelp meal and compost
- this recipe is only for the bottom layer of soil
- not enough focus on microbial life
- like the rock phosphate, azomite and worm castings
- no need for the 1.5 tsp of humic acid hehe the ewc's have plenty of humic and fulvic
- cooking with little to no air, sounds an alarm for me. when there is a lack of oxygen, bad critter colonize and do bad things. I prefer improved methods like Vermiculture or regular composting. You can add your slow release nutes like guanos to the your compost too.
- Reuse your soil

and thats a short and sweet version of my original post. hehe I'm going to finish now so it doesn't happen again. yet again, this is just my personal opinion. :)
:thank you:

Bring on the Flush

Bring on the Flush

Today was my day off, so I spent the day Frisbee Golfing or "Frolfing" as its called here in the mountains. It's awesome fun if you haven't tried it. Cheap and easy too. and who doesn't love that? When I first heard of it I literally laughed out loud, but as soon as I played I was hooked. Its a poor mans golf.

In the Garden:

The flush is on and this lovely plant is showing some of its true hidden colours.

:peacock: What a great day too! lots of sun, and lots of fun.

and then there was light... well more light hehe

and then there was light... well more light hehe

Today I took an opportunity to hang a couple new cfls over the plants on the second level.. Just to fill in some of the gaps and every little bit of light helps. Now my measly 600w's has received an upgrade to a new 400mh, 70w's worth of full spectrum cfls and 26 w's of a full spectrum UVB cfl. :woohoo: Only up from here...

Much love to you all for stopping by. Here's a virtual *Highfive

birdie gold.. I have no idea what that is.. but its sounds great haha and a half mile... now that would be impressive.

I hear you folks to the south have amazing open courses... but we have a very unique 27 hole course on a mountainside that criss crosses into the deep woods and overlooks a big glacial fed lake that would be stiff competition. you should come up and play one day! but I have not played on an open golf course style course yet and that look like super fun...

and no aces.. yet... haha this will be my second year playing. Will this be the year?.. :tiphat:

hmmm well your advice comes at perfect time. I just heard that we are having provincials here this year. Maybe I need to get some experience. I'm typically a pretty humble, easy going guy, but I do love a cheeky competition here and there. :dueling:

and I would love to have so many courses near me.. you are a lucky man... and on the topic what is/are Birdie Gold?

oh and this will be super nerdy but I'm also looking for a new disc either a long range driver or an overstable mid range.. and thoughts?

haha birde gold was a typo...i meant to say birdie golf. most serious players play all holes PAR THREE...regardless of the length. it easy to keep track after smoking so many jointts!!! its sort of the "gold standard"...so birdie golf would be averaging two strokes per hole...one long drive and hopefully a tap in put...two strokes/birdie golf

i usually carry three drivers...i have my go to for your natural "hyzer" shots and one for "anhyzer" shots

Hyzer
Hyzer is a term used to describe the most common type of throw made in disc golf. The hyzer is so popular because it allows the player to use more power and the natural flight characteristics of the golf disc to get the most distance from a shot. A typical hyzer shot is a long, graceful, arcing curve that turns left for right handed players and turns right for left handed players. A hyzer shot needs lots of open space to be truly effective.

Anhyzer
The anhyzer throw can be described as the opposite of a hyzer shot. The player forces the thrown disc to "turn over" against the natural filght pattern to get around obstacles that a hyzer would not be able to. The difficult part of throwing an anhyzer shot is that too much power can cause the disc to turn too hard and fly erratically in the wrong direction.

i carry a mid range ROC that i rarely throw...then i will carry two putters...typically innova supersofts...

EDIT: haha talk about getting nerdy. i usually scare people away when i begin talking about hyzer shots...visual that long bomb in an open field...you will get that extended "S" curve that you yearn for in every open drive.

hey, we are obvisouly weed nerds (posting on the net) i am nerdy about a lot of other things in life too ;-)

i love me a good game of frolf.

we've got a really nice course in my area. i usually play the 3 stroke is par game, but i respect anyone that can average two throws per hole.

never played in any tournies, but i had a friend who should have competed professionally. damn that guy can huck a disk.

Love the hyzer talk haha what do you want different about a anhyzer disc?

it will list it as an anhyzer disc...more in the technique that throw...youtube has a lot of good technique vids that will get you up to speed

playing with other is the best way to elevate your game. you can learn a lot by watching others in live play or by checking out vids.

its a great way to blow off some steam and do a little hiking

have fun guys

Nope, but I just heard of them and found some one your thread and I'm totally interested... they look like a ideal system to "help" water.

Ain't no helpin' about it brother - they are f*cking sweet.

By now, I've already sort of taken them for granted, but when I first got 'em going, .. I noticed a few things - Obviously, makes watering a non-issue. Once they're set up, they're on-point. I also noticed an uptick in growth and general health of the plants too.

Gotta run now, but hit me up later if you want me to further extol their virtues.. :ying:

dude. blumats. they are the perfect compliment to fully-amended living soil.

since we let the plant dictate how and when it feeds, why not let it also control its own water supply?
