those chocolate phenos look dank!! thats the sour bubble i like the most...my favorite sour bubbles had a more mocha bubba smell to them...the only lime flavored ones ive smoked were from the dubb family....but damn that nug looks good the strain seems like a nice balance between cash crop and bag appeal/flavor..

I haven't been on much and was just lookin at your build thread, never noticed you had a running log now! Amazing work sir, just amazing!!

Yes4Prop215- Yeah that pheno you liked was a favorite of mine as well. I smoked a nice chunk of that plant.

RomulusUSA- Thank you

"Too chocolately tasting"

Please excuse me, but my brian immediately thought "There's no such thing!"

I'm not sure how, but could you expand on this? Is it sort of like putting too much bacon on a burger and not being able to taste the burger, cheese, and bun with enough balance?

Tonygreen- Can you change sig to from organic fanatic to BURNONE the organic moderator, not sure why I got those names confused. Sorry fanantic! I do not let the soil mix cook, I plant clones directly into this mix. I wouldn't plant seedlings into this, for seedlings I use Foxfarm Light warrior, then to Ocean Forest, then to this mix. By 4 weeks or so they can go into this. If a certain strain finds it a little hot no worries she will adjust fast. This is my first run with the mix it may still get some tailoring but as of now it will get the job done. I have started many first time growers off with the old mix which was dramatically different and they have been successful right out the gate, a full amended soil mix makes things so damn easy. Good luck with this mix and please report back, I would love to see what others think. It is an evolving thing, the more people using it and insight the better.
Hey PK! In addition to the soil mix which Tonygreen has his in signature and I am purchasing for my next run, what teas do you run? Do you give the clones anything in Light Warrior/Ocean Forest, or just whatever is in the soil? Majorly appreciate it! I've wanted to try an organic soil mix that I don't need to feed lots of nutrients to (I'd love to run BluMats for the long weekend vacations and week+ also, and cannot with my organic nutrient regiment with Roots soil). Thank you!

How many CF are your bags of chunky perlite, also? Mine are 4CF, I just want to make sure I'm not going to over perlite it.

Between you and DrFever (https://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=241902&page=29 skip to the end for new goodness pics), I am going to go with 20gal pots next run, most likely of the smart pot variety. And less of them. And maybe making a panda room inside my room vs the tents I have been using... Lots to consider, but I have 2 months till next run is going. I wish I bought 5x5 tents, but they wouldn't allow much walking between/around room. Also on the hunt for some SourBubble locally, there should be some around. Stoked. /rant

Here is link to Tea Advise thread made by PK while back: https://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=239417

I use same soil mix and run a pretty simple tea I got from PK and threads. 1500 ml earth worm castings tea bag (i use pantyhose)per 40 gallons, 5-10 ml molasses per gallon, 2 air stones, place tea bag close to 1 air stone, ready for use in 24-36 hours. Pretty sure he runs around same thing but curious to know what exactly his recipe is now as well.

You're awesome sir, thank you! I'm not sure if I am ready for the plunge, I am space limited at the moment, but we'll see. I am really thankful to have the info organized and saved now tho, so I can do it in the future if I don't next run.

Bag- ty

Storminmormon- The chocolate taste given from the male was not desired and included in the goal of the project. Lots of good plants everything was great but not what I was looking for.

RomulusUSA- For teas the basic is:

40 gallon batch:

1500ml earthwormcastings
400 ml Molasses, Earthjuice Hi-Brix

In addtion I sometimes throw in some addtives, If I do it is these and this amount:

per gallon:

5ml Cal/mg+ (General Organics, molasses based)
7.5ml Diamond Black (general organics humic)
1.25tsp Floralicious organic base enhancer, grow or bloom depending on time
1.25tsp Bio Bud (general organics line) in flower
1.25tsp Bio-Weed (general organics line) in veg
1tsp Earthjuice Micro Blast

When I am hitting them during their peak in flower, week 4-6 depending on strain I will add in some Bio Thrive Bloom by general organics, trying to achieve some burn.

None of this is needed and it is still a work in progress. The EWC tea alone will greatly enhance the grow in this mix.

In light warrior i feed nothing but plain water and same with the ocean forest unless I feel they need a touch of calmag, I use ro water. I think the perlite bags are like 3 cf maybe. Your standard large bag of chunky perlite, I use mother earths #4. Each soil batch gets a half bag of perlite. Good luck I think you will really enjoy the ease of use, please report back :)

jtechnical 1- listed above, it is an evolving thing.

Well ladies and gents I just went and rescued a couple katsu bubba kush girls, I gave them a nice soak in forbid and a botaniguard root drench along with a transplanting. they were in a rough shape when I got them and I pimp smacked them for cooties but I think I can have them healthy enough to give me 36 cuts in 10 days or so. The very next round going in the room is sour bubble, the next will be 24 katsu bubba kushes vegged 7-8 weeks in 20 gallon pots. Muhahaha

Should be sick, she is branchy, stretchy, lets light penetrate easyly, and is easy to trim. I pulled around 9 ounces per 10 gallon pot last time I ran her in the old soil mix in the first rough round in the new spot. Time to switch it up a bit, I almost ran my grape bogglegum but the thought of staking up all the katsu tops sold me on it, I will fill the canopy with colas galore. Heavy training, I am going to keep her short for most of veg then let her explode and buy alot more bamboo lol.

Fuck ya man! Just wanted to say thanks for the inspiration and room design information. I have basically mocked your room into 2 :)

Are you training with just bamboo and wire or tomato cages?

Turbo14- Hell yeah NICE! That is alot of light good job, and everything looks healthy as can be. I just bamboo and twisty tie everything into place, labor intensive but then I know it is done right. Are you running a simliar organic mix in there? Good shit, are you running a thread? If so got a link? Oh and your welcome I wish you good luck.

Well trim day is upon me once again, this weekend will be spent choppin down 24 sour bubble trees, one ecsd, and one grape bogglegum. The thought of fiskars makes my stomach twirl, so glad I have the trimmers. Also I have a 4 person crew including myself this go around so it should go fast. Two people de-stemming and de-leafing and two trimming away.

Imediatley after the room will be scrubbed down, sterlized with simple green hospital formula and bleach, and air filters changed ect. Also I will finish up my hood upgrade and finish installing the remaining 8 OG hoods, and 3 8" maxfans. It won't be long and I think I am going to drop 4 more Og hoods down the center with 600's in them for better footprint, maybe thousands. I think my AC can handle it, right now I am running 15K 12 hours a day, along with a co2 burner and two dehueys, and temps are whatever I set it to, no hassle. I think it can handle the 4 600s for sure, 4 1000s and I may have to install a second ac first, which I plan to do soon anyways.

The list of shit to do is about to go through the roof once again but atleast I should have things settled down by christmas. I have 3 harvest in January, a total of 12K coming down, so things will be pickign up soon with some of my crosses.

hempluvr- Yes sir, it is all about yearly production goals around here, no short sightededness. I remeber when I first became a full time grower 6 years ago learning about speed. I harvested a crop and bathed in the glory of it for to long and then you are living check to check, or in this case grow to grow. Now I love having a fresh harvest just going out the door and I am already a week or two into the next one. It is simple really, pull out a calendar and time everything correctly and the train never stops rolling. It can be alot of work and stress but the payoff is worth it. Thanks

Cody2white- Me neither, I am just excited to grow something else. I think you are right about the 1000's, 1000's are all I have ever purchased. I better get on the backup AC ordering and install. I am going to go with a 3ton Mr. Slim P series, it will allow me to run a few more lights in the big flower room but most of all if one ac goes down I can adjust fire (unplug some lights) and use whatever ac is available.

I am prepping for harvest the next couple days, have to get the trim room ready and humdity dialed in in the dry room.

Nice choice, I'm excited to see a full run of katsu in there. I hope you hit a home run with her!

I just think it's incredible the focus you put into your plants, all the way down to knowing what you want it to be. Reading your threads teaches me how to think better as a grower. I really appreciate the time you put into your posts!
