worms way has the new white ones which seem interesting. But I have always just got 1/2G, 1G, and 2G ones off of ebay. I don't use them as much as I used to...but still nice and handy. I guess you could always get a size bigger, and cut the top down abit for ease of use...but if you're looking for a certain footprint size...that won't help.

Cheers,
SH
those will do the trick perfectly. i went to the site for the bags and got the dimensions i could fit 20+ 2 gallon bags in 6 square feet!! 15 3 gallon bags. they are perfect. thanks. oo yea they are cheap as dirt 100 for a little over 20 bucks.

I don't know exactly what you tried searching for but I didn't have any problems finding 0.5, 1, 2, 3, 5, 7 and 10 gallon grow bags on eBay. Maybe not 1.5, but I'm sure a 2 gallon bag will work fine for you.

You can get away with smaller bags if you use coco as your medium. I find I can grow a much larger plant in coco in a 1/2G or 1G container as opposed to using a peat based mix. Coco is like a passive hydro. I have grown 3' plants in a 1G bag with excellent results.

The 1/2G has a 6" sq footprint, and the 1G has about 6.5" footprint.

SH

howdy. i LOVE grow bags.

they make a 1/2 gallon one. the internet is our friend. :)

i have 1/2 gall, 1 gall, 2 gall, 3 gall bags. they make them larger too.

"the hydro store carries 1 gallons but they have huge pre made holes they are so big they rip when you lift them its ridiculous".

how are you lifting them? i carry them around the house all the time with just one hand and i guess i've been lucky because not one has torn. i've reused these bags 10 times or so. very durabel(sp).

compared to most pots, the footprint is small and the bags are tall but not too tall. a very good combination.

over the years i had collected over 100 pots of various shapes and sizes. once i found grow bags, i never went back.

love them!

I remember my mother had this small rack which folded and was used for small bags to be kept on the counter for food waste. I am thinking with that sort of rack to support the bag any small bag could be modified to hold soil. The rack basically held the bag up and open and would sit on a kitchen sink.
