Try to run before you toke one. You'll have to run for long enough so you feel tired, but not so long as you would feel totally shattered.
Or better still toke one and then go for a run, I know it's not for everyone but for me a joint, followed by ten k run is just as good as a toke can be, and I'm so relaxed afterwards zero worried about anything. Try it out if you have problems with angst or such issues.
