G'day all,
Been lurking for awhile in the outdoor pages and thought it's time to drop an intro.....
Im an old school outdoor organic grower from the Southern Tip of Africa, growing Sativa's or very Sativa Dom plants. I grow in 55gal bags, 100% organically with my own compost and EWC. The seeds I grow I have collected over a long time in and around central and Southern Africa. My field of green overlooks the Atlantic Ocean and gets blasted by the wind from the Cape of storms, but who cares when we have such fun and laughs growing.

I put some pics on the Outdoor grow section with a little story.........

How does the wildlife do with cannabis there?

Hay dogzter, unfortunately the largest animal on my land is my dog, then its down to a family of Cape mongooses. then lots of smaller animals, birds, lizards and snakes as can be seen in the pics on the outdoor section. My neighbour is a national park...... Smaller animals get through the fence.

Are the plants your own strain blend ?

Hi FTL, had a laugh at that no unfortunately I can't claim to have bread any strain worth talking about, Im trying to grow a Sativa Tree that can handle serious winds and produces top class bud, crazy I know. The sailors name for where I live is "The Cape of Storms". When something interesting goes down il drop a pic on that outdoor thread.

Every year I swear I'm not growing trees next year and fuck the girls never stick to the deal.

Hi LndR, Unfortunately I have never heard of that weed, but if its grown by the rural ladies in the Transkei or Ciskei it will sure have seeds and stalks, and those rural ladies may not know the ins and outs of gardening but I lived in the Transkei in 1980 and they grew some classic weed in amongst the rubbish, we also had to teach them to pull the males and they didn't like that because they thought that was wasteful of product. They also had no idea of drying and curing so even their great weed was shit by the time it made it through the police state to the big cities That said some of the best weed I have ever smoked in my nearly 50 years of smoking came with stalks and seeds form those areas.

This was the weed. Most definitely not cured or trimmed ! Some of it was almost black. Just thrown down and squashed into a brick but very nice none the less and great to get a true taste of the region rather than an indoor hybrid.
