G

Guest

I am about to embark on a journey into the depths of greenhouse growin and wanted to start a thread that would help me as well as others in their quest for killer greenhouse herb.

This is new to me so I am sure I will have a ton of questions as well as be able to report my experiences good or bad to the IC community.

Please feel free to post/ask any and all questions and or personal experiences in the greenhouse.

Here is what I am starting with in my lab o' buds.

here is were I am at as far as gettin the pad set and poured

So we are off to the races!

I am fortunate enough to have people in the concrete biz that owe me a favor or two

Otherwise I would have staked it strait to the ground

Hey TK, glad to see your still on the project. Get this greenhouse wired and running smooth. Then you can come over and help me get mine running smooth. Hint hint. Keep us updated.
Take care

one thing that im wondering about is ventilation in greenhouses , i am about to embark on a similar journey and this is one part im not sure of .... one of the reasons for me doing this is to cut down on the humidity and rain outdoors ...

I hope you can figure out how to keep your temps and humidity low. High temps were a real problem for me, but even worse has been the mold that has hit my crop because of high humidity. Looks great I'll be watching to see if you can figure it out.

Good Luck

cant wait to do that. harvest 5 lbs of bud.. and archive the hash.. that's my life plan.. so my retired ass can chill at home.. ahaha..

I am very interested in knowing how you deal with mold and high humidity now? It looks like you have your GH dialed. I will be taking another run with my GH next spring and any info would help.

Thanks

Thanks DrawoH,
Do you have any info on your sulfur burner( how they run and where to get one). I also have a hish humidity prob in my indoor room when there is a lot of rain. The ozone and sulfur are very interesting and I am going to have to look into both.

Thank you again

Would having alot/extra of ventilation in the roof help with high temps?
I was going to have a dabble at a small greenhouse but didnt think of high temp and mold issues,im glad i read this thread and saw it, its given me things to think about before starting,.

Alot of greenhouses have an overlapping roof like the one in the picture, and the windows can close if its a really rainy day or something like that, they are desined so rain wont go inside, even if the greenhouse is open... But it still drips in and causes mold problems.

Rodriguez I found that high temps weren't as much of a problem as high humidity. The more ventilation the better.
