I don't know if this will help anyone but i maxed my EC on these plants out at almost 700 PPM or 1.4 EC and it was a little too much. I'm feeding twice a day morning and night for 1 minute so i'm actually pumping them pretty good but at that rate about 6 to 650 PPM or 1.3 EC seems to be a sweet spot for these plants. I'm going to carry this knowledge into the six babies i have coming up. FYI

Up potted to 40 gallon pots and brought in under lights.
There seen to be two very distinct phenos the pine candy and the straight balsam pine. The Pine candy makes more pompom uds and the Balsam is more spear shaped.
Below Balsam pheno.

I recover from 2020 zacateca tribute grow, the smoking
report of the straight balsam pine pheno only have tried
and the same pheno grow now.

After dry and trim all the Zacateca Tribute on the dessert tray, I filled 7 jars
for a liter, I didn't weigh the plant after the dry,
but when i emptied the tray i got one last gift from
the plant, that did not want to die, 14 fresh seeds of Zacateca Tribute .

As far as the quality of the grass is concerned, the Zacateca Tribute made me go back to the early 90's when you smoked a herb that knew the way of the mind and didn't cheat you with just the high thc.
What can I say spectacular comes directly to your head, headbend
and it never ceases to rise for at least a couple of hours, the flavor is felt the lemon trait mixed with that of hash and conifer but to give a final judgment on this I have to wait for the right period of jar.

I've been so busy I actually haven't distinguished between these three plants in terms of phenotype but I finally have my s*** together. Anyway when I heard menthol it did not sound too appealing to me but I have to tell you I did smell an undertone of menthol in what clearly is going to be the longer finishing Hawaiian leaning plant number one. It's still is fantastic smelling it's kind of like pine on steroids.

Ah it looks pretty dry there, and your plants look squat like they get as lot of sun. Will it stay dry throughout your flowering period?
All being well it will. Sometimes we get a storm end of Sept beginning of October, but mostly it'll stay dry until January.

They do get a lot of sun and have endured temperatures of up to 44c (114f)!

Very strong smelling and today I noticed menthol for the first time.

she'll all be made into cobs when she's done,

I slipped out between cloudbursts this afternoon and took a few branches from the CaliPurple x Nepali. These plants are ripening very quickly and even though I feel they could go on for another week or two, I thought I should play it safe and make sure I snagged some before I get too many bud rot and mildew issues. As it is, I did find a spot or two and tossed those buds away. The color has come on just in the past week or so and will accelerate this week with overnight temps going down to the 40's by Thursday.

Your climate definitely pulls out the sativa influence yet keeping them squat and I imagine the potency from all you UV would make for great buds. I look forward to your progress.

With more rain moving in tonight.
Outdoor chop!
Man you have to love another Sativa that finishes before the end of Sept! 42 degrees North The other amazing thing is if you look at Hombre Del Mont post just above on this page the morphology of the plants grown in a mediterranean climate from the same seed.
