Just joking man, the way you wrote it made me think you married your sister or something.

Gotcha.. I explained my situation earlier in this thread. In a nutshell, I took an 8 year break from cultivation. Meanwhile, my cousin (codename: Sunshine) picked up the torch and ran with it. My state went legal last December. Now I dont have to risk having my old broken tail doing time (prison is a young man's game) I decided to start back up small time grows just for me.

So, I approached Sunshine with the idea: I'll buy the genetics, they will veg them, make clones, and I'll take my cuts and flower them (Sunshine has 2 tents and a nursery) .. if there's any males I'll take one and throw it in my little 3x3 and see what we come up with.

I had fond memories of a sack of Hawaiian buds I scored back in the day.. Sweet on the intake with an exquisite hashy exhale. The buzz was warm, up, and glued a sh!t eating grin on your face. Never saw anything like it again. After investigating the genetic offerings available Mountain Gold really struck my interest. Plus, if I could shut the tent down for summer and put some Mountain Gold outside and it will finish before the snow flies I'm all about that! Thinking back again I remembered this Thai weed that came around (never seen it again).. ACE had a Thai A5 Haze offering.. Well.. Thai and Haze? Sign me up.. Not able to leave well enough alone I thought a step further and considered crossing both... "Buzzin Cuzzin's Golden Sunshine Haze (hahaha).

..thats my story and I'm stickin' to it! :)

Using Float Tech the MG beans exuded the biggest strongest tap roots possibly I have ever seen. Buried in Fox Farm Ocean Forest these plants are healthy and kicking ass. Adding N is not necessary; FFOF is hot enough by itself.. with no nute burn.. maybe enough to get it to harvest.

So far, it looks like I have 2 phenos: 1 short internode and 2 longer internodes. They wont be sexed until theyre all chopped up into clones. If I have any boys I wont cull them; I'll collect some pollen for F2s and even though @vermontman discouraged me from pollinating my Thai A5 Hazes I've always been a rebel and will chuck some man dust on those girls :)

A lil ball bustin' is good for the soul! ;)

Looking ahead to this year's outdoor endeavor. I can run 6 plants without getting hassled by The Man. I'd like to put out 3 MG and another 3 of either Grape or Purple Satellite .. undecided. Help me make up my mind! :)
Oh man!
That's like asking a guy to pick his favorite child! HAHA
But, if you have all ladies I would say 3MG, 2 Purple Satellite, and one Green Mountain Grape

Hello, hello

I wanted to show you my current plants. All of them are made with the same mother of a green mountain grape pack.

The first one is a purple, apricot and spice smelling pheno. Gmg f2 purple, about 33 days 11/13. good amount of stretch and seems pretty fast. I grew her before, she was totally purple in the end. We will see.

And the next two are an experiment of green mountain grape x pck.
Both are Prob 28 days of 11/13. stretch is there but not really much.

One is very purple by now. It didnt react so well to pruning and is very sturdy. Smell goes more in the forest direction. Not really sweet but something berryish is there.

The second pheno is green but is starting to get some colour. It has more stretch between the nodes and is branchier. Very nice resin distribution. Smells piney, not sweet.

Well, I have good news and bad news.. depends on how ya lookin' at it..

The MG are still motoring along. Me, on the other hand, is not. I saw the reconstructive heart doctor today. They are amazed how bad my heart is for my age. In 6-8 weeks I will under go open heart surgery to install a mechanical valve. After a week in the hospital I will be going to a nursing home for the next 3-6 months. Doc said time is of the essence.. I need to get this done soon. By the end of the year I will be too weak to withstand the surgery and then have a life expectancy of another year.. So, as it stands if I dont get this surgery I'll be taking the Big Dirt Nap in 2 years. The odds of dying on the table is 1/500. The new valve will give me about another 30 years.

In other words, I have to bail on the grow.

Hey man that sucks to hear. On the other hand it's great news that you can get it knocked out and behind you. Don't worry we will keep posting some Green Mountain grows for ya to live vicariously through in the short term. Just like my wife lives vicariously through me when she makes all those sweets that somehow only end up in my belly. Well me and that mouse that snacks on things at night when I'm not looking.
