I have two Green Haze x Panama Fems. running right now. The largest plant is a monster and nearly grew into the bulb above it.

That's wild Lean Green :)

Your Green Haze x Panama Fem is showing a very tropical sativa structure and behavior, with that crazy Haze branching, maturing first the lower parts of the plant while the upper tops continue to grow.

Not sure if you have the chance to lower down a bit the photoperiod in the room, this type of expressions finish better using a 11l/13d photoperiod for the flowering.

Hope everything is fine there! ;)

Stoney917- they are still running and currently about 10 or 11 weeks in.

Hi Dubi! All is well here, busy time of year.

The last pic in post #162 is a few weeks old. When I saw the structure on the bigger plant, I reduced the photo period to 11/13, that was about a month ago. They have filled in well since then and the frost is packing on. Both have fantastic Haze aromas in the resin as expected. I'm pumped on them!

And this blurry shot is from a few days ago. This bud came from the smaller plant that I don't think I've shown a picture of yet.

I'm glad you are doing well there Lean Green :)

Is the last pic of your last post a Panama Haze too ?
Looks very nice :yummy:

Thanks a lot for the updates, i'm looking forward to hear your opinion about the new Panama Haze release when you finish them.
You already tried the previous Green Haze x Panama release (2008) so it will be interesting to know which one do you prefer.

Hi Dubi!
Yes, the last pic is of the smaller Panama Haze.

Panama Haze performed as expected. They grew well, no issues at all. Well, that is if you don't count my underestimating the the stretch on the big plant. I dropped the ball and put it into it's final pot a bit too early. I've been doing organic soil with my last few grows. She got too big and I wasn't able to feed her like needed. It still produced more than enough, but I'm left wondering just how much more she could've put out.
The high is just what I expected, I was out walking along a nearby creek when I sampled it for the first time. I was instantly uplifted and more in-tune with my surroundings. Felt like an old friend stopping by

The compact plant is equally as strong with a slightly mellower vibe. I could see clones of this type being a viable option for filling a room with.

Drinking coffee and burning this herb has me struggling to type. I feel like I should be doing more than sitting at the computer.

Over all I like the idea of being able to plant the Fems and not use limited space growing males, if not needed. I only grew two of them but I had no intersex issues at all and they both grew into delicious Sativa.
Some people can't appreciate a fine Sativa these days... I can... and this is one.

Excellent Lean Green :)

I'm so glad you like the new Panama Haze fem release like the previous standard one. The flowers are massive, you did a real nice job

Panama Goddess genetics makes the Haze explode in vigor and yield. It's a bit difficult to control its height indoors, especially from seed, but they are much 'indoor friendly' with little veg or starting from clones .

I love this F1 and can't wait to hear more reports from growers enjoying her.

Thank you very much for the updates and feedback!

I think when I run them again next summer, I'll pollinate them with a few males from the F2s I made with my preferred phenotype found in the original release. The frost coverage was insane on that plant and it had the strong Haze aroma and flavor I'm after. The two fems I flowered seemed to lean slightly more to the Panama, based on my experience with a few different Panama hybrids.
These types of flower improve dramatically with even a few weeks cure and only get better with time, to a point. I would advise anybody growing these longer flowering types of Sativas to not judge there quality until they have cured for a while.

I like a lot the idea of combining males from old Panama Haze standard release with females of the new Panama Haze fem.

The combination would be:

(Haze / Panama F10 elite) x (Haze / Green Panama F6).

Please, keep us updated with the progresses of the project!
Best wishes.

Thanks!
The recent pics are from the Fem. PanamaHaze release. I requested the GreenHaze specifically and ACE seeds obliged me. The first pics in this thread are from the original release back in '08 and I think I posted some pics of the GHP(GreenHazexPanama) crossed with Deep Congo in the middle of the thread.

For sure! Will probably be the last thing I plant for 2016. I like a pile of Haze to take me through the winter:biggrin:

In other news, I have a few Malawi going at the moment. Plan is to hit them with PTK males from my best line. Over the years I've crudely separated them into 3 different lines based on the quality of the mothers and resulting females. Should be a good time, I'm excited!

Sounds interesting Lean Green,

I have tons of respect and sympathy for Tom and his indica lines.
It's hard to find nowadays such quality pure/'non hybridized' indica lines.

I grew PTK, Deep Chunk and X18 outdoors many years ago from seed and clones, but had little to try: all his indica plants were small yielders and all the plants rotten terribly with just a bit of moisture in the air.
That's why i finally discarded them for any breeding project or for personal use. X18 had a bit better mold resistance.
But to be honest, the quality of the few healthy flowers that i had the chance to harvest from his seeds was exceptional.

Best wishes for 2016! :)
