I can second the direct buy I was amazed with the speed my order got to me.
Hi Dubi! All is well here, busy time of year.
The last pic in post #162 is a few weeks old. When I saw the structure on the bigger plant, I reduced the photo period to 11/13, that was about a month ago. They have filled in well since then and the frost is packing on. Both have fantastic Haze aromas in the resin as expected. I'm pumped on them!
I'm glad you are doing well there Lean Green
Is the last pic of your last post a Panama Haze too ?
Looks very nice
Thanks a lot for the updates, i'm looking forward to hear your opinion about the new Panama Haze release when you finish them.
You already tried the previous Green Haze x Panama release (2008) so it will be interesting to know which one do you prefer.
I think when I run them again next summer, I'll pollinate them with a few males from the F2s I made with my preferred phenotype found in the original release. The frost coverage was insane on that plant and it had the strong Haze aroma and flavor I'm after. The two fems I flowered seemed to lean slightly more to the Panama, based on my experience with a few different Panama hybrids.
These types of flower improve dramatically with even a few weeks cure and only get better with time, to a point. I would advise anybody growing these longer flowering types of Sativas to not judge there quality until they have cured for a while.
Thanks!these are nice shots of the green haze x panama is this from the ace panama haze or a different cross?
I like a lot the idea of combining males from old Panama Haze standard release with females of the new Panama Haze fem.
The combination would be:
(Haze / Panama F10 elite) x (Haze / Green Panama F6).
Please, keep us updated with the progresses of the project!
Best wishes.
For sure! Will probably be the last thing I plant for 2016. I like a pile of Haze to take me through the winter
In other news, I have a few Malawi going at the moment. Plan is to hit them with PTK males from my best line. Over the years I've crudely separated them into 3 different lines based on the quality of the mothers and resulting females. Should be a good time, I'm excited!
