The Islands on Greek are the Point ;) At least one of them got a own "Landrace"

In Saloniki, back in the '80s and before the Dutch hybrids came rushing in, everybody toked local weed and/or imported hash--I remember 00 being the rage at the time--.
Therefore it can be safely deducted that we smoked Greek IBL whose origin is hard to tell. So I can't help thinking that there must be some old farts that still go the way they used to...

i cut the top off of one of the 4 plants because it was finished, the bottoms branches are still growing and have mainly clear trichs still, the top is curing and has been for about 3 weeks, it has a lemony, spicy, fruity smell, along with a smooth spicy fruity taste, it has a wonderful up floaty high at first with a very smooth transition to a body stone that leaves you feeling good and helps you fall asleep with no after affects the next day. it is starting to look like the pictures i have seen of Kalamata Red, although one plant hermed on me (i cut her down btw) but they all have sativa traits, but my plants did not get taller than about 4', it stopped stretching and began focusing on the bud growth. the plants will absorb as much water as i can give them, i havent found the max limit if nutes they can take but they prefer a lower nute level ill post pictures of the buds soon i promise, ive been busy with work and college so now that ive got my schedule figured out i can make a more detailed grow thread on my other plants

The buds have a very intense fruity smell, it's super sticky, they are being grown under 400w ceramic metal halides

looks good hippydon ,ive never seen the plants growing myself ,but it was memorable good quality smoke the effects were very positive and uplifting ,don't know a thing about ceramic halide are they more powerful than regular? that sunshine in kalamata extreme and would bring the best out of many strains I think

the ceramic metal halides have a much higher blue and red spectrum than either a 1000w metal halide or a 1000w hps, I was really surprised as to how bright they were. they made an almost over night difference in my plants, they just started growing like crazy.

the first of the 2 greek plants i cut down when curing has a lemony/piney smell, and a beautiful sweet taste. it is very much a creeper weed, the high takes about 5 or 6 minutes to fully kick in but its a very potent head buzz that last for about 2- 2 1/2 hours, it tails off in to a nice relaxed body. it burn very well, and is very smooth upon inhale and exhale.

They do a magnificent job for veg and they do just as great for flowering and just for a little extra boost I supplement and extra light with 400w hps bulbs, when I switched to the cmh I noticed an overnight difference in my plants, they just absolutely cannot get enough of the light, they love it.
