Rellik said it right. Black Sabbath - Master of Reality. A truly prophetic album about what Could/Is happen(ing) on Earth and in the head of madmen.

Great minds think alike, Herb, my brotha! It's been a while since we chatted but I hope all is well with you!

Led Zeppelin 1 and 2 because of the diversity of the albums and the influence upon rockers, power blues players, guitar metal players especially with the single note downstrokes of "Communication BReakdown" and "Whole lotta Love" and of course the great Robert Plant before "Physical Graffiti".....you can hear the toll of the rock lifestyle on his voice from that point on...just my humblest of opinions of course!!!

Pink Floyd - Animals

Animals is just the most perfectly integrated album ever made. Every single piece fits; there's not an off note on that album. If you're talking "albums," which used to mean a collection that was more than the sum of it's parts, Pink Floyd's Animals takes the cake.

Every Led Zeppelin album is great. Every single one. Yes, even Coda.

Everything Aerosmith made up to and including Draw the Line was great.

Ted Nugent's Free for All still holds up, as well as Ted Nugent/Ted Nugent.

The Rolling Stones' Sticky Fingers still blows me away.

Every Neil Young album up to and including Comes A Time was great. Not exactly rock, but what the hell...

And last but not least (here's where I'll lose a lot of folks) Frampton Comes Alive. That album rocked, and took over the world of rock for a year in the 70s, and that's saying something.

Miles Davis - Bitches Brew

not exactly rock, but it was just as influential.

no doubt about it zoltron, was listening to soundgarden tonight in the garden lol

Excellent choice, mi amigo. I love that 1st STP album with the song [is it?] 'Plush'. Scott Weiland, Layne Staley & Chris Cornell have/had the best voices for singing. Talk about belting out a song...that Layne Staley might've been a little dude, but his voice was amazing. 'Man in the Box' is a great song for his voice. Just liked heroin more than anything else. :badday:

another good choice for a great rock album is System of A Down's self titled album...and Toxicity.

System of A Down just rocks! Serj and Daron are great singers. Their lyrics are a bit on the weird side but that's how I like it.

Well Ride that Bad Motor Scooter to Space Station #5

^^Really?
Rellik - All is well. I was on a short trip but I'm back. How are things down your way?

Running a tie for second in my book is Frank Zappa "Overnite Sensation" and King Crimson "In the Court of the Crimson King"

A highly underrated guitarist IMHO. My band does "The Voyager" from Montrose's other band "Gamma". It's a great bluesy tune with one of the greatest leads of all times. It's a crowd pleaser for sure.

Rellik threw his panties at Ronnie at a concert but Sammy picked them up.

1 of the best albums to do LSD to. Put your headphones on, speakers off [no disturbing anyone please] & lay back in a dark room...it's time for the 'killer visuals'. :yoinks: :chin: :sasmokin:
