I love the last part of that video... guy rolls up to the checkpoint and pulls the same interrogation tactics they use on civilians during traffic stops and they don't even question him much, pretty much just smile and tell him to go on through.
I'm curious as to which Act and what section is being referred to??
PS I'm waiting for this video to load but for the moment will say that I was just speaking on the average citizen being ignorant of the rights they have left.
Right, I can't speak to the other poster's theories. Just saying that NDAA does a lot of things that suck, including enabling indefinite detention for being "belligerent" towards the government. They also no longer need a search warrant to do surveillance by phone or email.
If you really want to bone up on NDAA, Chris Hedges is one of the plaintiffs at the forefront. Democracy Now covers it.
I remember when NDAA first got approved, one of the congressmen who was against it said that not only was the transparent part of it incredibly bad, but that in the committee there were other powers and abilities discussed which would not be made transparent that shocked him to his core. I'm sorry I don't remember more specifics on it. It was a real congressman on the committee in question, speaking on a credible news network.
There's apparently a program that has been used to mine emails sent by ordinary citizens and compile a database. I've seen a bunch of Anonymous ranting about it. I haven't really gotten into it myself because it's too fear-inducing, I can't deal. I can find the name of it for you if you're really interested.

Thanks for posting this, I actually just watched this on another site. If you have ever driven through AZ or NV into CA you will surely encounter this situation. Border patrol 100 miles away from the boarder harassing US citizens.. It's usually very remote with exits & utilities many many miles away. It's pure tyranny & federal harassment. They even use psychological warfare with little bulletin boards of "treats". It loosely resembles a gas tank indicator or a energy level like a video game. Green (low threat) then yellow then red (high risk)...
