I enjoy really tasty weed. The flavor sticks to your tongue after exhale and tastes really good. That makes it worth growing to me, and worth smoking The fact that these turn purple is a nice addition purely for asstetic reasons. It's the potency and flavor that make these purple varieties so popular. Yeild can be good if you're like Forty Grit and very good at what you do. If you haven't smoked it you really don't know what your talking about.

Hehehe... with the above mentioned I'd have to agree, however, I don't think Urk makes this list as it's the purple standard to compete with, not the novelty-strain wanting to wear the crown. It's really great smoke...

Forty's buds were awesome, super dense, tasted and smelled amazing, and had that great functional stone... which I like. I smoked GDP Saturday morning and got work done! I smoked Bubba Sunday morning and was completely worthless...

Thanks HuffAndPuff.. there's two sides to the purple "fad" thing imo: there are some peeps that call anything purple "purple weed" and think they are all the same and then there are some that recognize that a few strains of really good weed just happen to be purple. bottom line is not all puple weed is the same!! urkle and gdp are good strains to me no matter if it's purp or green.

it's all part of the hobby imo... urkle is good breeding stock and it's pretty common to name a cross after the parents so maybe novelty depending on how you look at it. don't really matter if it yeilds or turns purp... it's hobby breeding for fun, nothing else. if the beans were untested and for sale that would be a diff story. these are between friends.

16 is perfect. Right in line with what "The Man" told us I assume that with higher numbers your veg/pregrow times got cut some.

When i moved my mother room I tossed the kens and my original cut from our mutual friend and decided to keep the Urkle. I plan on getting them both back to run the comparo. Got some unfinished business with the guy i got the kens from so as soon as i can use my pm box i'll be able to work that out i hope. Later
