Hey everybody no pictures today but a very Merry Christmas to all!

Vertgrowbot- Hey thanks for the input i must say your website and some of your posts have been very insightful as well!

In answer to your first question yes the shelves are beefed up those pics are a week or so old. We ended up taking the brackets back(16") for 12" which add over 50 pounds per bracket of stability because they are shorter. Even with the old brackets three men where able to lift themselves off the floor without breaking the shelf so id say they are fairly strong.

As far as drainage/flushing goes...

Flushing

There is absolutely no reason to "flush" organic nute solutions from your soil mix. In an organic grow, the plants don't take up the organic nutes (guano, bone, blood or kelp). The bacteria eat the organic nutes and excrete food that the plant can feed off of. So the organic nutes don't need to be flushed because they never enter the plant. And besides, meals like kelp, bone and blood along with worm castings and dolomite can't be flushed from your soil mix anyway. If you use guano and seaweed, try using plain water or worm casting tea for your last watering or two so the plant can use up what's left in the soil. But drowning your soil with water isn't necessary.

Burn1
That's pretty much my philosophy on it, when i first started growing we would water the piss out of our plants and have 13+gals of run off easy because we thought flushing was critical to growing. Since then I have scaled back to where its my goal to only have a few drips come out the bottoms of my pots which the nursery trays can catch. Granted my nutes aren't as organic as Burn1 is talking but with a 10 day flush at the end of flower it seems to work fairly well.

Here in the next month or so I will be installing a Tropf Blumat auto-drip system throughout the whole garden which will take my weekly watering time to around ~1 hour. For now we have a garden hose with two people we can still get it watered in thirty but it's by no means efficient i can't wait for the Blumat's!

Krunch! good to see you thanks for the inspiration again!

Perpetual Nooch-

"what would you say to other kids that are thinking about partying while their parents are out of town?"

"get me to do it for you"

"well were going to go i suggest you take a good hard look at yourself"

"i have, everyone has they love it"

:eggnog:

where to get relays?

where to get relays?

My buddy and i are goint to run 2k on a flip flop circuit. Were basically gonna run 2 1k ballasts 24 hrs a day, and have them connected to a relay that switches the power to the two rooms every 12 hours.
So where can I get these?

Well it's been a busy couple of months sorry for not keeping this updated but here's what we have been up to.

We are harvesting all of the 9 week strains over the next couple of days the ten week strains will be done on Tuesday so should have dry weight for the room sometime around the Tenth of April. Ill post up some bud shots later on if anyone's interested.
