You would be surprized how well the maine /canadian boarder is protected.....As kids we would cross the western boarder just for fun on sleds, moter bikes even swimming..[ 25 years later]now looks what happens if you forget where you are,and your carrying large.

Does Maine always sieze property? They seem to have very lax MJ laws with 100 plants and a pound both being misdimeanors. What happens if they bust your grow? Do they give you a misdimeanor and also take your house?

I think the issue here is the involvement of US Border patrol... If your grow gets busted it would just be state or local LEO involved, not federal agents. I guess unless you were hauling your grow across the Canadian border

buy a better gps unit dont cheap out. i swear by delorme ihave it setup on my laptop. and the handheld unit

They are much more lenient towards growers then traffickers... if caught under the 100 mark they wont take anything but your equipment.. unless of course you get caught over and over again then they might make an example of you.. Dude around the way has gotten bopped 3 times for under 100plants and just gets fines and few days in jail if any.

but if your trafficking and up by the border then hellya they gonna take your shit...

I'm fairly certain it was the fact he was carrying over the border that fucked him up, intentionally or otherwise.
