Stitch I missed the part that he drank half a 1/5th of vodka. Back in my younger more unexperienced days...when my liver was clean as a whistle I tried to tame a 1/5th of jack daniels. Lets just say not the smartest thing to do, probably the sickest I have ever been. Now drinking half a 1/5 is like childs play, I am no alcoholic but when its time to party...count me in ha ha.

But yea today I was trimming up some of the deader, crispier leaves I had those scissors in my hand and it was tempting I am telling you. It was like I had a devil and an angel on my shoulder...one saying cut it down mother f***** smoke that s*** to the head. Then the angel was like be patient, 15-20 more days and that smoke right there will devastate you and your friends. lol it was quite a dilemma. My girlfriend keeps asking how many more days till she comes down so I can tell she is impatient too. Besides that my nug jar is emptying fast. My next grow I'm trying to get some Icecream beans by paradise, have you heard anything about it. Heard it was some good stuff so I will be putting the LUI beans on hold and try the cream out.

LUI is a kick ****ing ass strain man, you ever grown that out before? Ya, when I Was growing it was the same with my friend kept hounding me when the chop was going to be done, cause he always helped me manicure and he would end up getting some of my harvest for helping me out.
Cause I had more than enough for the way I was smoking.

You chop it down and you hang it upside down and wait untill the branches can break off easily, if they are still bendy when you try to snap them off.... they still need to be dried a little longer ( plant needs to hang a little longer)

You want to doit to the main top and middle part of the plant, if it snaps off like a dead tree branch or a little harder then it's ready to be cured!

No I have never grown LUI been sitting around on the beans for about 2 years now. Been favoring female seeds lineup. As I said I love love LOVE the NL, white widow is another I have grown out. Its pretty potent, more like a smack in the face and I prefer something that medicates me and numbs me up and makes me sleepy so when my knee's are killing me I can sleep it off. Now I have done grapefruit too...thats some good heady giggly stuff. Usually what I prefer to smoke with my friends its very social!

But as far as the LUI goes yea I have heard its kick ass. Good ole Indica dom, just what I am looking for. But my thing is if I grew out 6 of the beans I would probably end up worse case 3 females. Take cuts...grow the cuts out wait to see which female is the best producer coupled with high. I just do not have the space to do that. When I have the space thats when the expensive beans will be popping up.

Good news...seems as if the spotting has stopped completely. As I have said before all the new growth is as green as can be. With her improved health comes more flowers, seems as if she is packing on the weight I have wanted her to do. Pictures will be put up on day 49...3 days!!!

It seems as if this girl may need to go 65-70 days depending on the trichs. After another close look my first percentage may have been off. More like 50-45-5. Plus many of her calyxes are swelling right on up the way the should be.

In about 5-6 days I will begin the flushing ritual to bring out her true flavors and hopefully some nice nug shots will follow in about 2 weeks.

Seems like only part of the plant was affected from that sodium; which reason why it spreaded for one, was not flushed good enough in the start..... another thing plants store that in parts of the plant... so the parts that had excess would show it early or late depending on when it was deposited in the plant.

So now it seems it's all out of the plants system!

Are you going by the breeder flowering time?
Most strains put on the extra weight in the last few weeks of flowering time......

Female Seeds says 9 weeks total which is 63 days. its day 46, I know there are 14 days left and the trichs will more than likely finish up in 2 weeks if not 2-1/2. Yea I can definitely tell day by day she is packing on the weight. The main colas which I have 5 are kinda fluffy...but I know in 2 weeks hopefully she will fill in. I have 4 great side branches that are perfectly shaped like little snow covered Christmas trees. I took another insignificant fluff bud. Going to dry it out and give her a smoke and see how she is at day 46.

I accidentally brushed up against her while I was trimming some of those crispy yellow leaves off and holy cow...literally stunk up the whole house lol. I cannot wait to see how this bud smells once cured properly. I bet it will absolutely wreak.

But Stitch from my latest pictures you think she still has a lot of filling in to do. I am just kinda worried that those main colas are going to be fluffy. Any how let me know what you think. I will put some bud porn up tomorrow!

To much nitrogen can cause fluffy buds, not enough light and genetics are a cause of fluffy buds.....

So it could be any one of those.....

I think Hot temps can cause them to be airy too.......

It is not temps because they have been in the 77-80 degree range. Nitrogen was used sparingly this go around because non affected leaves have started to show yellow. I may just be worrying to much because I think in 2 weeks worth of time she will double her weight if not more. Anyways I will post some pics of her tomorrow, this sexy lady will weigh more than my last NL from female seeds thats for sure. Either way I am too excited to see how she smokes, when she gives me at least 50/50 cloudy amber trichs. I want that head and body stone, makes me feel good then numbs me up if my dam knees bother me.

Oh it's ok, I Have seen a lot of peeps over react about there plants! I was not saying your plants had fluffy buds, the only real way to tell is if you were right there in front of the plant, pics would not tell much; but I was just letting you know some of the causes

I know she will be just fine and you will have some kick ass smoke too!

Ha ha don't say my babies have fluffy buds Stitch I may just send them to get you lol which you wouldn't mind probably. I think she is hitting her prime 2 week stretch now, HUGE bud production is occurring everyday. Letting her dry out good which would be in 3-4 days then the flush.

Temps have been around 78-80 lately...think its time to replace one of my fans took a voltage reading and I think the sucker is failing. Ph was at 6.7 WOO HOO finally got it more to around perfect. Humidity has been great for late flowering just around 34-44%.

But most of the calyxes are showing 65 percent cloudy...35% clear trichs. The trichs on the leaves have some amber, but the calyxes are swelling up nicely now. So here I am waiting for her to finish. Smoked some of that day 42 pop corn, it was nice not too strong though which I was disappointed about. Giggly feel good bud, so I know she is not even close to being done.

OMG Stitch I wish you could smell this girl right about now. Had some people come over complaining of it smelling like a skunk. I mean I have to do more about this odor control. As of now I have a new cab that I am preparing to build...more space to use my new goods. But she is about 65% cloudy 25% clear maybe 10% amber. I am planning to take this girl 65-70 days where she is right now. I want at least 60-40% or 80-20% clear to amber ratio. She is filling in real nice, I wish I could take a picture right now but I am completely shit hammered. Out of bud for the moment so the booze takes away my knee pains now...not what I resort to but it'll do.

Sigh...I wish I was granted better knees, God bless everyone who has good knees. This shit sucks. Keep safe and blaze one for me.

Anyways, day 52 is upon me and I give it a week and a half at the most two and she will be finished. As of now the ph is right at 6.6, temps got high yesterday... reached 86. That fan I was putting off on replacing died and things got a little toasty. No damage was done I just do not like the temps to get that high. Humidity is right at 30% so it is fine and dandy.

The buds on the main colas are still fluffy...I do not know why but all the lower buds on the stalks are dense same with the side branches. I would say only one of them will weigh what I want it to. Disappointing but you cannot always get what you want. Trichs are about 70% cloudy, 25% clear, 5% amber. Thats why I am saying at the most there are 2 weeks left.

Her smell is out of this world this go around. She is by far ten times more stinkier than the previous girl I grew. But it is a divine smell so I am not complaining.

Last but not least I have started to flush with water...bottled ph 6.6. Any chance she will fatten up still? I hope she does it will be shame if she doesn't I was hoping to get atleast 1.5 Oz's of her. Just from the latest picture.

The day 49 nug I took is almost dry another day or two. I examined it for about 10 minutes, Some of the clear trichs turned cloudy and cloudy to amber. This nug STINKS...I mean squeeze it and its a strong strong strong coffee, skunk, sour smell almost like diesel but much tamer. I'm pretty sure this nug will get me blazed as all can be. It has awesome bag appearance as well...although this is all personal I'm sure I would pay a lot of cash to get something that looked like this where I reside.

Ok sorry for the delay in my post I have not abandoned ship. It is currently day 59, my target goal of day 60 is tomorrow yay. But my excitement is not there, she needs at least 6-8 days I would guess to finish out with atleast 80-20 cloudy to amber. So closer to 70 days and she will be right where I want her. She is filling out really nice but those affected leaves are starting to die. The buds are not too dense so rot or mold is not my concern. But I have been getting in there and removing the larger dead leaves. Besides that problem she is a healthy little stinker.

Ya, see the problem you had set her back a bit, mostly takes around a week for plants to recover for mild issues like you had.
