This is scary stuff for sure if you have a pet(s). I just heard that my cousin had to take his dog into the vet, and then to a specialist because his dog ate one of the affected brands, and has the all the symptoms....listless, vomiting, diarrhea. I have my cat on nothing but dry food now, I'm not taking any chances....and pot leaves. :D My cat actually like pot leaves more than catnip or cat treats, LOL!! What a pothead.
I hope they find out the reason of all this soon.......

yeah fancy procter and gamble making bad products huh? Oh well at least they eventually acted to recall the food. I heard it took them a few months to do anything at all.

I had been led to believe that dried pet food was dangerous to animals kidneys and renals systems in general and if you fed your pet exclusively on dry foods you would end up with a dead pet sooner. Don't know if that still stands and certainly some dry food is not as dry as other food.

We always had a main meal of wet food and a bowl of biscuits for snax....keep em happy during the day.

hopefully all your beloved pets are all okey dokey though.......

We never rely soley on wet food in this house, neither for the dog nor the cats. Wet food is purely a once-in-a-while treat, and is generally Pedigree wet food for the dog, and Fancy Feast for the cats.

We'd prefer them to actually keep their teeth as long as possible, dry food reduces the amount of plaque on their teeth. As far as health goes, it's no worse than wet food, either. However, the cheaper ANY kind of food is, the more filler junk is in it. We always look for meats to be listed before the fillers.
