he is about 2 months old. 7/8 German Shepard 1/8 husky.
He is a male, and i named him Rambo.
I have a 12 1/2 year old German Shepard/collie mix. she is adjusting to him slow.
she seems upset by him being around but has calmed down...
I look forward to having him protect me grows in a couple years when i have my own house :rasta:

Very cute! Make sure you pay as much attention to the older dog as you do to the puppy, otherwise there will be anger issues between the 2. :dueling:

Cute pup bbb. Be sure to follow KGB47s advise. I have seen the result of not giving the older dog as much attention and its not a good thing.

sweet pup bro

...great name too!

puppies are so much fun....having the older dog can be a good thing tho as you probably know. If they are treated equally and can become buddies the older one will teach the pup things that you cant.

have fun w/ rambo...I bet he'll make a great "garden sentry" one day

Awesome dog, there's nothing like a puppy, and he's definately a cute one. I love his dark face, he's going to be very masculine with a big blockhead - very good! Nice mix too, huskys are very fine dogs. I see you like GSDs too, theyre my favorite :joint: , and german shepherd puppies are weapons of furry destruction. Ya gotta make sure you tire them out or they can get fussy, Im sure you know what Im talking about. I've come home to destroyed pillows and my best buddy hiding under my bed on more than one occasion :cuss: Thank god they get over that stage!

here's my boy "yukon"...he's a Great Pyrenees 2 years old.....needs a bath and a brush...hehe :D but he's nuthin' but a mountain dog.

He's a great watch dog, but not a guard dog like my last dog a Komondor (meanest dog I've ever owned)...but loved me and the GF (HATED everyone and everything else)

Yukon has a great bark and acts like he is really tuff, but he's just a damn sweetie beyond the "front". He'll bark and act like he's gonna kill ya...then if you get close to him he only wants to cuddle.....what a freak.

...we have a border collie too ...she's a whole other handfull (smart as fuk and the fastest dog I've prolly ever seen in my life)

my next pooch might be another Komondor just because they are such great guard dogs, and loyal beyond belief. (kom's will not tolerate heavy handed owners ...they demand respect, and will hand you your ass if you even get close to heavy handed w/ 'em)

here's yukon:

HAHA biting the leg I know what that's like yours sounds alot like mine when he was younger. I take mine on a walk every morning, and he used to get impatient if I was taking too long and pull the covers off my bed. :spank:

Nice dog yukon, I hear ya about him wanting to cuddle, it seems like all the big dogs I meet end up being sissies in the end but the tiny ones will bite yer nose off! (<--A mini doberman tried to do that to me once before I flung that little bastard across the room).

Wow! He's getting huge! Hopefully one day I'll have my own place and I'll be able to get my own puppy :D
yeah, his balls are dropping so he is getting a lot more adgresive.. he already learned to defend my property on his own.. if anyone comes near, he will bark.. andhis bark is getting meaner by the day.. a lot deeper then the puppy voice he has.. i am very happy with that.. he tears up anything.. and for some reasons, does'nt eat wet dog food, my other dog loves it.. i put them on the evo beef feed and the 95% meat beef canned..

if you can deal with a male gsd pup, you can deal with 10 baby kids.. no joke

thats gunna be a big dog in a couple years!!!!

still a cute pup though... my mom had a German Shepard growin up and i loved it. it was a real good dog.

i'm thinking about saving another pit terrier from a shelter pretty soon... the best dogs when treated right.

yeah, shelters are the best to get them from, save a life! i hate pet stores that sell them, and the idiots that buy'em

i agree, i had some pit breeder approach me a couple months ago asking $1,200 a dog. no way in hell would i pay that much for a dog when i can go to the shelter and save one.
