Whats the idea behind the topping at this stage? Even tops sizes at the same height?! Ever tried hard supercropping instead of topping it?

Hi BW.
I normally top to avoid very high plants.
No special rules. I top when i feel is time. I top +/1 one week from time to start flowering. Helps getting an even canopy.
I have tried supercropping, pinching, LST etc. All works fine done properly.
