Has she penetrated the northern border yet?!

Looks and sounds like a true beauty. Glad to hear of her being shared like she deserves to be!

thats only like 4 weeks in too....gonna be some big colas on that one...so far the biggest has been 20 30 gm ounce out the door, with another 2 or so as give aways and 4 oz or more in the hash bin...but only out the door counts to me...the 45 gallon will beat that for sure, hoping to see a solid 1 1/2 from it....2 would be nice but maybe optimistic...
the 20 gallon plant on the flush now should drop a lb at least...

Damn Unc what the hell kind of camera do you take those shots with? I wish I could take some shots like that close up my camera is pos compared to yours.

I think Unc is on to something big pot one plant grow a massive bush under a 1k and yield more than a bunch of plants under a 1k.

I might have to try that approach when I find or get that massive yielder.

Krustallos does that method very well.
Very smart if plant numbers are a factor.
And I definitely agree gg4 is a great candidate for this, considering shes one of the fast growing plant ive ever seen.

I have a older Nikon digital camera and I canT even come close to getting shots like those. I think my is a 10mp but I always take the pics in 8mp maybe I should drop the MP lower and maybe I'll be able to get it to focus a lot better.

Than again In my older age my freaking hands shake like a leaf on a tree on a windy day. So the pics look really good as I am about to press the button then when I review be picture it looks like shit. Lol

I even borrowed my brothers nikon coolpix p80 camera which was like a 350.00 dollar camera it's badass but I think my 80 dollar camera takes better pictures. That camera you have is a gem I would keep that thing forever.

My sister has a badass cannon that is kinda like my brothers p80 I might try to make a deal with her for it since she doesn't use it really. The best pics I have ever seen has come from your camera and a old cannon power shot like 5mp camera it was a old one that my ex use to have. I am gonna look around on eBay and see if I can't find someone selling your exact camera.

Peace mike

try a tripod...
i have been working with slr type cameras for over 30 years now, digital is easy because you can blast off 200 frames and it doesnt cost anything to develop...so theres the secret,if you want one good photograph, take a hundred and maybe you will get lucky,i trash 80% of all the pics i take...

Same is true with point n shoots and cell cams. The cheaper the cam, the more important it is to find its optimal range. Mine only takes a passable pic set to macro abouy 12" away. Even knowing that, I can take 100 pics and end up trashing all of them.

If you don't have a tripod, steady yourself against the wall. And breathe - I find myself holding my breath and I can feel my pulse shaking my hands.

Nice thanks for the tips I think the tripod would help me a lot. Seems as I am getting older my hands are getting shakier everyday. So after I get the camera to do its autofocus before the picture is taking it looks great than my shaky hands kill the shot. I'll have to look into getting a tripod I think that might help.

Also damn some of those dslr cameras are pricey even being used. That's exactly how my brothers and sister camera look like a professional looking camera like the dslr cameras.

I just steal my pics off the internet.
I find it easier than actually taking pics of my plants.

For real, I use that rapid fire thing + Luther Burbanks "keep the best, ditch the rest" method.
I find it easier than trying to take a perfect picture. If I snap 50-100 pics, usually 3-5 come out good.
I really like that rapid fire setting. It takes pics 3 at a time.

In gg4 related news, I just put a pretty humongus one into flower yesterday (for me anyways.) Im actually thinking its too big because its under one light with other strains.
This plant doesnt suit my multi-strains-under-1-light method. Looks like she leaves me no choice to mono her, alternating cycles with my usual suspects.
