hey unc, i started checkin out this thread today (got stuck on page 1 for a lil bit). needless to say, the plants are INSane. but i got to tell ya, your photography is equally as ridiculous. While i know very little about these clone onlys, i do know canna art. Over the years ive acquired; all 4 of eds big books, all 4 of s.t.'s indy/sat series, both of subcools danks, h.t. field guide, a bunch of gro guides, stax of budporn, & even jsson kings 3 shitty books. And i would put your work right at/if not the top. (and sub is no slouch). truly beautiful. on another note, i have a question or 2 for ya. Could u pLease bless me with a righteous INDoor soil reciepe? Also, do you use a drainage layer on the bottom of the container? Ive been using a 1-2 in. bottom layer of roots organics coco/perlite blend mixed with extra perlite. my main soil mix has been basic and lazy(i dont feel like i have room to cook soil); 33% happy frog, 33% perlite, 33% worm castings, & 1% positive vibes. I start them in 6 in. squares and go straight to 5 gal aurora smart pots. i use the drainage layer on both sizes.
and please get back to me when is convinient for You. Respect and appreciation unc.

Just transplanted 3 more GG's into 8g pots. All 15 plants will be in 5g or larger pots. I have not counted how many in ea yet. I will do that win I move them into flower. I will have to do it in stages I just dont have the room to veg that many plants that large. I will do 5 every month. All 15 plants are in 1g pots. they all need to be up potted im ready to go :D I want ea plant to recover from transplant and topping before they're sent to flower. The first 5 are topped and recovering.

I dont have the room for that right now. with 15+ plants I just dont have space. All of the plants are big I have 2 at 5'. the rest are about 1 foot shorter. Lets see what kind of yield I get on 15:D

yes i do,but keep in mind my room has 79 watts per sq ft of light input and the ventilation should be swapping the air out completely every 2 minutes or so.given all that i can probably run a bit hotter than most people can...

for veg i use (per gallon h2o)

1 tsp cal/mag
1 tsp bioroots
1 tsp biothrive grow
and once per week each on different days i will add
1 tsp/5 gallons silica blast
1 tsp/gallon bioweed
1 tsp/5 gallons gen hydro rapid start

also in veg 1/week i foliar feed with silica blast at 1 ml/liter h2o

for flower...

weeks 1-2

1.5 tsp/gallon cal/mag
2 tsp/ gallon biothrive bloom

and then once per week each
1 tsp/5 gallons silica blast
1 tsp/gallon hygrozyme

weeks 3-flush

1.5 tsp/gallon cal/mag
2 tsp/gallon biothrive bloom
1 tsp/gallon biobloom

plus once a week hygrozyme up until week six or so and silica blast until week 4.

edit... i forgot, compost tea once a week,i use the vermicrop system as a base and add a little roots organic HPK

re-edit.... i use sunshine advanced mix #4 for medium with some ancient forest humus added and a bit of azomite, the azomite is mostly because i recycle my rootballs into my garden beds since its all pretty much sand around here...

re-re-edit.... and i also feed every single day so its actually a hand fed hydroponic method...

very helpful, thank you sir. so you feed your plants (besides the things you do weekly) everyday? how arent your leaves burnt? the more i learn, the more i realize i dont know what im doing. I seem to only be able to water every 4 days, and i alternate weekly feedings of compost tea and the g.o. products. (ill water, wait 3 days, feed with g.o., wait 3, water, wait 3, compost tea, wait 3, repeat) I add a few drops of cal-mg to my r/o water, and the tea i make has some nutes in it. But i guess im really only feeding every 2 weeks. no wonder my yields suck. im really glad this place and you people exsist.
so you just give them each a small amount of food everyday? or water a little plain r/o water and feed?

aside from i stopped using the ancient forest and azomite its pretty much just like that, yup,i feed every time i water, veganics doesnt build up in the medium and light frequent feedings seems to work for me,the veganics break down into carbohydrates after a certain amount of time so they never get a chance to build up.typically i dont see any tip burn until i switch to the late flowering mix and then only a tiny bit.

keep in mind i normally use smart pots and live in a desert climate, plus the medium itself dries out quickly and i never water to any run off..

so helpful. i always just thought to myself, "do da doo, ill make sure theyre no dry spots". i soak em and let them dry. i must have read it somewhere and unfortunatly it stuck. One last thing for now. So then , plain r/o for last two weeks, or how long? and do you actually 'flush', (in h.t. mag, danndanko suggest runnin 2-3 times water (per container size) through. example 5 gal container run 10-15 gals! h20 every other day last 2 weeks. i dont do that but i do a mini version that i always felt was unneccesary. and sorry im so clueless.

i find the tip burn in veg only on plants when they are really in full stride... im almost convinced its a sign of high rates of photosynthesis and respiration outta the leaf .... kinda like wear on an high preformance engine;)

also only my opinion here... there is collegiate level research done on floral varieties saying stress.... idk
