What are you guys feeding GG4?? I have been using GH flora series. Was wondering if I should try lucas formula, which does not use floragro. I am about 2 weeks from harvest (day 56), and buds seem small.

Could letting the plants veg too long be a problem in producing large buds? Heard someone suggest that.

LOC DOC try some v+b....... dont judge it by my plants judge it by Dans....... its good stuff:)

any word jw? sucks to not know either way im sure.

nothing, no news is good news I guess, don't know what that call was about unless they were just rattling my chain,

Aspen let them go until your satisfied with them, usually 63 days is enough but every garden is different , they look fat and tight :tiphat:

Aspen, I'm hesitant to use political terminology, but you have a one percenter grow. Maybe zero point one. Thanks for setting the F 'ng bar so high, biatch.

I'll give another vote to go with the V+B. If I wasn't switching to organic soil I would be all over some of that. Seems to be really cannabis friendly stuff and easy to use.

Definetly interested in hearing what results you get with those leds, are you planning to have them as your main light source or as a backup for your main lights?

I used AN for years,i beleave they were good before their PH perfect move, but expensive, regarding Voodoo Juice,as far as I know AN was sued years back by the makers of Growtastic ETG,they claimed AN was only bottling their product and renamed it as Voodoo Juice, but claiming they develope it,growtastic supose to be the same product way cheaper, made in the US.For the rest of AN suplement products, check what they are made off and you will find many products on the market(grotek is one brand)at a much better price.I moved to Canna after AN and never looked back, way cheaper,a lot less products to use and it never blocked my drip system(with AN they were constantly blocked).

Yes they will be the only lights in tent (except for IR). They are state of the art, and 1200 real watts of them should be at least 50% stronger than 1200 watts of HID. They will also be spread out evenly, and produce hardly any heat compared to HID. Checkout Growmau5 videos on youtube, especially the ones that mention vero 29's. Cree's were state of the art till January. No manufactured LED units can compare, and most are 3 year old technology.

Will take a look at canna line. Thanks.

Loc , your hooked into that "Lucas formula" way of thinking ! no of course its not fed at the same strength all the way through ! different EC levels for each stage of growth .

yes its a 1 part , but fed at different levels & you cut back after the 6th week so the heavy N doesn't effect the foxtailing or airy buds . you feed light with this stuff & it works wonders , it takes a little tweeking to get used to , but its got everything you need in 1 pkg instead of many many bottles .
you just have to get away from that Lucas mentality before you try any other nute line ! lucas formula is an outdated & really not a good formula for great plants . its good for beginners to get going , but thats about it .

Forget Lucas & learn what the plant wants & when it wants it .

I have never actually tried Lucas formula. I have used GH flora series charts. On hydroponic research web site, their chart showed using same amount of veg + bloom all the way through life of plant. I liked GH, since their charts showed a very scientific approach to feeding throughout life. From HR, I assumed veg + bloom was micro and bloom, and the foliar must be where the nitrogen came from. Here is HR chart -

I suck at reading plants, so need something to follow. My biggest problem is, where you use 3000 watt, I use 1200 watt. I am in house from 1950's and have burned up wiring before.

lighting doesn't matter ! i used this stuff in the attic when i was running 1200 watts . i've just been upgrading sence lol

but their feed chart is misleading . its a basic guide line , theres no real time exact feed schedule , they want you to tailor it to your needs .

do you have EC (TDS or PPM) & PH meters ?

if you do , i can give you a basic schedule to start you off with . it will be on the low side , so if your plants seem hungry using it , feel free to bump it up a little till they're happy .
better off starting low & having to add some , then to use to much & have to flush it out !!!

let me know if you decide to try it & i'll be glad to get you started with a feed chart . :tiphat:

I use it as well. I do not use there feed chart. I had no issues changing from PBP to V$B. I used the same EC levels in flower as I did with PBP. I'm getting much better results. It was a smooth transition. The only down side to V&B is the cost is higher vs PBP..All u need to follow is your EC level. Mixing is done by EC level not how much V&B to add.
