I have such a hard time cloning the glue. I have 3 that are almost 4 weeks into flower and I took 6 cuts to pick a new mom to keep around while i shut down for the summer. I did this 2 weeks ago today and i still dont have a root on the glue snips and they are looking bad. By day 10, i had roots on 4 of 4 blue sunshine cuts i took at the same time.

Im still holding out hope that i dont lose her.

I had a similar experience but.I ended up with a cyanobacteria from my well water. I cleaned everything and physan. Hopefully it won't be an issue again. But if it is I'll either use richyrich tea or endomycin

My first time rooting glue was a breeze. Fastest roots I️ had ever gotten. Since then I’ve struggled seriously struggled. My gorilla bubbles are also finicky rooters

the moms have to be a picture of health to get the clones to root consistantly . any slight magnesium def seems to slow down the rooting . plus bigger woodier cuts help . this is just what i've experienced with her the least few years .
my last 2 sets of GG4 cuts have rooted 100%

The mix has sul po Mg in it and this is the second run. The glue did show some signes of mg defficiency at the flip and got some epsom salts twice over 2 weeks. The last being a few days before I took these cuts. They were mid stretch and looked to be thriving.

Ive had trouble each time cloning her though but have not been skunked yet. I took 6 snips thinking I will get at lest 1 to root. Would usually be 3 or 4 out of 6. I still have hopes for one of the snips and keep spraying them and checking daily for roots. Dont want to lose this gem again.
