my old botanicare 156 or 165 came with one but never used it, my newer botanicare 180 didn't neither did my new turbo clone 32 aka the experimental torture chamber.
that's one of the coolest reasons to use aero- I hate dealing with the lid.
never had any droop without lid in aero btw.

The stem is the only part that needs moisture to root. The dome would keep leaves way to wet IMO..I don't see any benefit when used with aero.. If using rooters then I use a Dome. You guys run ur cloners @68f as suggested with Ez Clonner?. Not sure how any could achieve that temp with a pump submerged inside it.

I hate losing power! I refuse to lose power. I set up a battery bank in my garage with 3 inverters that put out 5000 watts to run lights ,fans, and pumps as needed. It is charged by 4 -100 watt solar panels. And that is backed up by 2 generators.
So yeah, Im not planning on losing any clones

there's been times i've lost power to a cloner and they wilted but came back even after 24 hours you'd be surprised !


another way to keep the temps down is frequent water changes ...it's easy when you have it set up in a tub

an occasional misting does not hurt them while in the cloner either

Easiest way to keep temp down is to drop so icecubes in it. 1 tray every few days.

Or install a Ice probe. They work great for small amounts of water. There not cheap.

i used in the past ice probe but i had not the success i expected.

I can cool my buckets to 60f with ambient temps at 75f. The hotter the room the less effective it will be. It will not cool more then 3g of water. It keeps my buckets at 70f 24/7 365.. Works great here.

aint much to see, its only 6 1/2 ft wide x 8 ft long , roof is 8ft to 9ft slope, originally it was a 3k stadium with 4 shelve rows on each side
