Caught this just in time...

Thought guerilla was OK but I guess not!

Name changes are tough when the original is so dope but with so many minds on it I'm sure we can figure it out.

Genuine Glue #4

As far as full replacement names go, Genuine Glue is the best imo. I think GG#4 has the best crossover though

With all the fakes and S1's floating around, it's really confusing for some...

Maybe we should grow the cut we have to out best and make our own name using "glue" in it.

I'm gonna call the cut that I have Galia Glue, if your MI and grab some with that name you know where it came from ;)

I don't even know if the cut I have is the real deal but the guy who gave it to me says it is. Will have flower pics soon for ya to help me determine.

I've seen 4 grows in the last month and none of their glues look like mine.

Theirs stretches and grows like a OG with fat chem looking leaves.

Mine are more pointy leafs and don't smell as loud on the stem rub but really crank in week 3. More than their cut I feel. But who knows.

I wanna just cash out next Harvey and buy a damn GC machine and get to testing my own terps and cannabinoids.
we don't need different names floating around, please call it what we decide on especially if you sell to dispenciers , we will have the official choice soon, thank you

well the good thing is that GG4 is very popular w/the locals ...now that I finally showed her off

It's a horrible analogy, but when people get ahold of Glue for the first time, it's like they just tried crack. Well around here anyways. I still live in prohibition land. So people aren't spoiled like those in legal states or those of us on here.

Now wait and see how long it takes before people in your area are selling fake Glue. Took about 2 years where I am.

oh gee glue lol. original glue is clean and simple. you have the unique opportunity to name a strain that has absolutely nothing to prove. hope you are well jw.

That will work great. You guys use what you like. Don't 2nd guess yourself because others might not like it. I use GG#4 in almost all of my discussion on her. That's what I will continue to use. If the name gets some confused it's not hard to explain why the change. Most should know why it was changed by now. .

my guess is when they see these numbers they will go directly after the dispensaries to get a percentage of the gross sales and leave you alone.

Hopefully you will get your name back too someday even if you have to rename your strain.:comfort:

$24 million??? they gotta be yelling Thanks Joesey! so loud that you can hear it in Nepal...

Guerilla Glue #4 Rising in Strain Jungle

Gorilla-Glue-4-Cannabis-Nug.jpg

Move over, Blue Dream. A new strain is muscling into your territory on the dispensary shelf.

Ever since BDS Analytics began collecting strain data from dispensaries, one strain has ruled over the thousands in the BDS Analytics database: the sativa hybrid Blue Dream.

With the exception of the first month of recreational sales, during January of 2014, Blue Dream has reigned in Colorado every month for three years. The story is similar in Washington — in fact, Blue Dream captured the lead the day recreational sales began, in July of 2014, and it has never fallen.

The story unfolded in a similar fashion in Oregon, but in 2015 BDS began watching a strain called Guerilla Glue #4, an extremely potent hybrid, rise through the ranks. And during 2016, it finally surpassed Blue Dream in the Beaver State, selling $7,396,498 worth of flower compared to Blue Dream’s $6,475,251.

Guerilla Glue #4’s sudden strength is not limited to Oregon. The strain did not appear in Colorado’s or Washington’s top 10 strain list until January 2016. But once it gained a foothold, it gathered power, month after month.

By October of 2016, it was No. 2 in Washington State, with $940,000 in sales and its upward trajectory continued in November, with $1 million in sales. As Guerilla Glue #4 sales grew in November, Blue Dream’s dropped to $1.5 million. Through November of 2016, Blue Dream amassed $15,325,649; the No. 2 strain for the entire year, Dutch Treat, had $7,909,914 in sales; and Guerilla Glue #4, which bounced around between the No. 3 and No. 4 spot for much of the year before rising to No. 2 in October and November, was responsible for $7,228,239.

Meanwhile, in Colorado Guerilla Glue #4 moved into the No. 2 spot in September, with $1.6 million in sales, before dipping into the middle of the pack during October, November and December. By the end of the year, Guerilla Glue was the No. 4 strain in Colorado overall, with $9,395,135 in sales, compared to Blue Dream’s massive haul of $27,156,279.

Among all channels in Colorado, Washington and Oregon during 2016, Guerilla Glue #4 was the No. 2 overall , with $24,019,872 in sales, compared to Blue Dream’s $48,957,180.

The tri-state trajectory — from just another strain to top contender — bodes well for Guerilla Glue #4’s future in 2017.

Which strain will emerge triumphant, as No. 1, by the end of this year? We look forward to harvesting and analyzing the data, and letting you know.
