Another thing I noticed about the duds that I've encountered is that the stems tends to stay green and healthy looking no matter how u stress them. Oh just to be clear when I'm referring to duds , I'm talking about larfie buds and has a lot of brown hairs on them. They may look decent when in late flower, but it lacks the thc that normal gg4 has and density. Here's a top pic of the two.
Uu
The one on the right looks like a dudded out plant.
Ive had it happen a few times usually very early on not sure if its stress or slight overwatering that causes ot bit they look just like the one on the right.

She HATES to be rootbound and will get stunted badly.
She likes, and absolutely needs her leg room with lots of root space.
I use 100glns of soil for a 3lb plant. If I wanted a 5lb plant I would need 200glns.
If I wanted an even bigger plant I would need 500 -1000glns of soil per plant.....
and a healthy early start.
The dud cause is unknown for sure as far as gg4 is concerned. I've given out clones to one friend and he grew a dud.
My best guess was early overwatering and never recovered. Like root rot type issues. My clones and eventually the mother grew out completely fine on my end. Not a single flaw, that wasn't caused by something I did or didn't do at least. Flowers were perfect. Yield was strong. Tested high. Friend had to toss gg4 from me and I'm scratching my head over here.
I came to that conclusion after I had a gods gift go dud on me from the get go after a fresh transplant into its first pot. Same dud traits as glue. Bright green stems no matter what, weak lateral branching, small leaves, slow to develope. Upon throwing out there were few roots compared to what I consider normal. I treated it like everything else. Only victim to dud ding. Either it wasn't ready for a pot yet and I drown it enough to rot it or was already a dud as a rooted clone. I'll never know for sure. I've had 1 branch on 1 sour dub plant go dud. I've grown out over 100dubs all sizes n multiple methods. Still just one branch. It's a real crazy phenomenon IMO if you can rule out bugs and diseases then wtf is going on with these duds?
Just bored over here thought I'd chime in with my dud experience with the glue and known related "dud prone" genetics.
