Seeing if a dry trim will make a difference. Mostly because I'm too tired to trim and need to flip the light.

in my limited experience with wet trim, ive found that the chopped, hung, and dry trimmed smelled better. ive always done it that way but i tried wet trim a few times to do a side by side. never was impressed. seemed like it slightly diminished the nose. i also never big leaf either. mainly because i hate doing it and i found no benefit whatsoever in an indoor that not having mold issues. even the trimmers conceded that it wasnt really changing their rate by any significant amount if at all. it slows the drying down so if you are out door and its rainy maybe its a good idea just for the mold check that happens by default plus letting rain dry off faster. but i like a slow line cure of about 10-14 days and then box cure it as the trimmers hit it. then burb the bags for a day.

but indoor with optimal conditions its seems like an unecessary step that may do more harm than good.

chop em hang em let the trimmers sort it out

I trim dry it has always been much easier to do. Wet trimming is not easy the scissors get gummed up way to fast. After a week hangin there dry enough to trim then into paper bags to finish drying.

Hey IC OVO (or I guess RB-26 now haha)!

I just got home from a trip to Santa Cruz. I was devasted to see the GG#4 off the menu, but noticed Canna Cruz had a 30% off flowers sale, so I went in anyway just to talk to (Dave? Greg? Forgot which).

I almost shit myself to see that they actually had some GG#4 (I guess they got in "less than a pound" this morning?)

It. Is. Epic.

The flavor is definitely improved. The look and size of the buds as well. I actually preferred the aroma of the earlier batch, it had a little more citrus to it (I saw the terp tests for both, the old batch was higher I guess). The smoke.... woah. Incredibly clean for being so potent.

Thanks man. Glad I made the effort to get some. I will keep this half O locked up tight as my "private reserve," so to speak.

Also, I had passed on the Chiquita in the past, but finally bit the bullet and bought a quarter while I was there. The tender and (grant? dave?) sold me on it, convincing me to try it despite my normal indifference towards Banana Kush - this pheno is just a different world they said. Looking forward to it later tonight.

Here's a pic I took of the GG#4:

Really appreciate the kind words. Always great to hear reviews. Let me know if you like one more than the other, I always take that into account. I'm hoping both break 30% again.

Sometimes when its on their shelf for a month or more they will pull it for a week so people don't get too bored. Generally if you ask Grant they'll be able to dig some up for you. Sounds like thats what you experienced ;)

Hopefully the good people of Colorado will be able to experience them soon enough :)

Lights are 1000w. I actually did a side by side this time of brand new ushio vs hortis. I think the ushio will win. Well see. I run rockwool slabs in a dwc setup. Nutes are house and garden base with some of their boosters as well as some advanced nutes and botanicare. Ec always between 1.3-1.8 and i cut all nutes after week 6. 3 week flush. This strain changed my world and im so thankful. Youve got a buddy in so cal ;)

Much respect my friend.

Edit: Oh yeah, have fun taking that shit down:moon: I seriously hated the one true scrog I did with the bobbing and weaving, took forever to untangle that mess.

You're not the only one. I'm stuck looking at the glue through the window as well. I'm getting close though. Think I should have her soon, I hope.
