Well the cool tube is an ultra grow cheapy, the bulb hangs down and slightly touches the glass from the cheap metal not supporrting it looks like.
Not sure what to do, if i turn it upside down it seems to sit in the middle but the wire is on the bottom then.
The socket is screwed in with two wingnuts. Not sure what to do here, any advice?

You gotta some how renforce the socket so the bulb doesn't pull it down. Put sheet metal straps across the middle of the socket than put a few sheet medal screws threw the side to hold it.that your describing is it's cheap flimsy metal and the bulb is hanging down from the weight ?

yup, that gives me an idea to maybe turn it so the bracket is vertical instead of horizontal...
Upside down it sits fine... right side up it hangs...
Im gonna adjust it so the bracket is vertical see if that helps...
I guess upside down and right side up is relative as the bracket to hold the reflector can go anyway you put it...
Think spin the refelctor so the upisde down is right side up,,, or vertical bracket better than horizontal....

Seems like vertical bracket will work, i guess i was too high to think of spinning the reflector around and assumed horizontal was the way it was supposed to be!!!!
Out of flowers, puffin 2 zips of hash till harvest has its moments... lol
Only drawback is the wire will come out the side,,, better than the bottom i guess.

Lol just flip the bracket so the learn is upwards the weight should balance it out
You gotta some how get the hanging bulb level but with the cheap metal and weight it's on a slight tilt so if u flip it so the slight tilt is the other way towards the top it might even out with the weight.im sorry if I sound confusing I'm tired ruff day today
ya the bracket is to weak, either woulda had build a new one or reinforce it so i just hung it with the bracket vertical and the wire stickin on the side oh well bulb is horizontal good anyway... just hung it to the ceiling.
lights the tent pretty good just need better glasses cuz that shit hits your eyes good, the hood blocks that shit..

They aint takin it back anyway, i got it set up runnin, puts off less heat than the 400w in the batwing. Lights the tent really good tied to the ceiling ,like i say only thing i dont like is i need better eye protection.
