how big ya gonna let them get before flower ?

if i get this right , the 2 males are together in the back pot & momma GG is in the front pot ?
you just gonna take pollen from each male & hit & mark certain buds ? or how ya doing it ?

Im gonna let her blow up and pollinate the whole freaking plant this time. Few weeks should be good. Prolly be a half pound plant, not sure how many beans itll be but alot hopefully.

For this one im just gonna throw em in the tent, the boy and the gg4 mom and the bx1 mom,,,, moms ell go in about 15 days before the boy joins em.


No need to put him in bigger than the 1 gallon hell make plenty of pollen, want the gg4 to get kinda big though.
Just gonna flower the one male cut and keep the other one vegging, take a few more cuts to keep around so i can remake if need be.

Few peeps thought that was a gg4 in front hehehehe

Whaddya htink tho 10 beans to a gran of bud? Thats what im thinkin might be a good estimate number,,, Gotta get her big enough to a lot for the effort.

Hey duck, in an ideal world homozygous p-1 parents would be used to make supreme f1 hybrids, however you will find a severe lack of homozygous plants to work with unless you make your own!

When you cross a plant with homozygous gene pairs they are passed in full to the progeny, that is what true breeding means, very few homozygous strains, might get some true breeding traits that appear in lines but mostly not, unless yo make em yourself.

Long story short on the filials when you f1 f2 f3 etc you are making more gene pairs double up to homozygous state every time and making them less heterozygous.

unformity is not true breeding always.
F1 from different plants will seem uniform because they are all 100% heterozyous but they will not breed true for all states if you cross them! in a perfect text book maths anyways :d

I don't know my shit as much as it may seem heh, i just read and study quite a bit, others can come in and blow me out of the water.
Actually I been waiting for someone to come in and trip me about not doin open pollinations on the BX so i could battle em.

There is not a perfect breeding strategy that covers ever goal or situation, focus on working a trait or two at a time and just try to keep the math in your favor is what i try to do mainly.

Bodhi's SnowLotus male is heterozygous; lets the females shine through and adds bulk+frost..I'll let Tony cover the numbers haha I never talked to TomHill b4

Tom would maybe talk shit for me usin a tomato example but it will help you get the general idea.... lol

Tom if you ever read this, the s1 of gg4 was too variable that I would never be able to get the numbers to test to find what i needed, I figured it would be easier for me with limited numbers to make my own homozygous material and go back in the back door. We'll see how it ends up.

They all gave me trouble! Or not really I gave them trouble fucking shit up every which way ie(its just a 400 i can sqeak by with no fan, no sir you cannot TG, lol), after those two rooted finally I tried grafting that skinny tall yellow cut onto the roots one with dead tips that rooted but was only a leaf, got some swelling at the joint but it died before it could heal.

8wks bud, highly recommend that norwegian kelp, however you use it it's good stuff.
