it doesn't matter how much you use ..... just make sure its all bone dry so you can crumble it up in the mixing bowl . then add enough everclear to cover it all & have about an inch over the top of the bud before mixing it . i use a gallon mason jar & grab a gallon of everclear . from that i usually get about 60ml of oil or more .

Awesome! That's a lot of oil! I never imagined it'd make so much. I'll have abunch extra if anybody knows anyone in need?

a gallon jar holds quite a bit of material lol i'd say more than a pound .... i never really weigh it out , i just wait till i have enough in the jar to do a run . it might take 3 or 4 harvests to get enough shake & keif to fill it lol

with whole plant ..... it might take more than 1 to fill it , it depends on how big the plants are .

gotcha, I might just use your measuring technique! Lol I bet mine will take 2 plAnts to fill it up. I'm a ways behind all y'all in indoor
I hate weighing stuff up. I usually just weigh jars after everything's being cured

So, trips me out.
Just like you told me Dan. My backed up clones of my seed plants are looking much different in veg. Got some great bud growing either way. I'll be really interested to see how the clones do once flowered and if the share traits of their seed counterparts.
I am really jacked on the calyx to leaf ratio thus far. Definitely night and day compared to what I have grown. Frost ain't playing around either.
All but the wider leafed girl are going from a sweet to a more astringent smell. Freaking wide leafed girl smells like some bad ass candy.
Contemplating cutting out calnit this week. Have hit em with MKP at 2.0 ec on top of 1.2 stock twice this last week

I've been smokin on my BGB #1 (blue gorilla bubble ) the last few days , finally got a decent cure on her & shes pretty smoothe on the lungs with a nice kick in the head by finish . not super strong , but gives ya nice relaxing mellow don't give a flyin fuck type of buzz .... nice to end the stressed out day with ! don't ask me about tastes ..... it all tastes the same to me after 40 years of cigarettes ...... unless its got some serious terps , all i taste is earthy musky dank lol

i assume your asking how long to grow out the bud for strongest results in your RSO .... right ?
well think of it as your smoking the bud , what effects do you want from it ? all cloudy ? a few amber ? a ton of amber for the real couch lock ?
just remember the more it goes amber & degrades the more CBD will be available in the resin . for some illnesses thats a good thing .

Dan don’t you mean the more it degrades the more CBN is in the mix and not CBD? I thought I remember reading that somewhere.

Found 2 open nanners on a lower branch tonight. Had a light leak a few nights back. Pistils are all still white, hoping not much pollinated

What side of the lineage does the burnt rubber smell come from?
Got hit with it good tonight when I watered. Stem rubs seem like a more sour. Think it's the leafier #2 but not sure

I had one plant that smelt like rubber. It also finished sooner than my other phenols of gb Got one clone to make it. We’ll see what it does this winter. Got my eye on the other gb clones, they are all very interesting.

I think I'm at 45 days. Leaves are turning pale from feeding straight jacks. Adding 400 ppms of maxicrop this next couple days to add a little nitrogen, the maxicrop seems to really bring the terps to life in my cinex also.
Sorry I'm blowing up this thread, just getting jacked. I could pull em now n it'd be my best crop to date I'm thinking. Fix on 65 days at least unless any of em ain't done. Don't want to lose any flavor.
Filling in the screens great

Dang clones are showing a bit more vigor, still a kind of slow veg. Hoping once I get the deadhead into flower so they get the 1k to themselves they will speed up some. Topped everything tonight for 5 tops, will tie and bend only from here on out as needed. May throw a mh on em to get the nodes a little tighter also once I have room.
They sure seem to bush out with very little training. Perfect plants for my screens, just wish I could speed em up

Not everyone can do it but a bigger pot to veg in than your usual and they will really thank you with more speed. She loves the leg room.
