Today I woke to the crys of my brother and sister..I saw my father laying on the ground unconcious.He had heart problems but I never thought today was it at 52 years old..I will shed my tears for days,weeks,and years hoping to wake up from this nightmare but he will always live on in my memory..I hope your in a better place now man..I love you..

its difficult to understand why people leave us when they do.......

I feel ya. We lost my pops when he was 40 and I was 17. I needed a few more lessons as my dad was a great thinker and problem solver (I have good ideas sometimes but I lack some practical application skills). I want to say the pain will ease with time ... but it hasn't yet (in almost 25 years) ... however ... the fond memories make it bearable. Keep those fresh in your mind ... your father doesn't want you dwelling on the sadness. He may be in a different place now ... but you are never out of his reach.
