Good or Bad Deal on HPS CoolTube Setup?

whats up dez, I have that ballast from md hydro in a 400 wt. they are made in canada and are pretty quiet for a cheap ballast. the only con about that setup is the lampcord is prewired into the socket it is held there by a thick heavy plastic grommet to get the cord out so you can pass it throught he cab you have to remove this grommet, its a pain in the ass but its pretty sturdy so it doesnt break just spray some silicone on it before you pry it out

As far as cooling the cab, if an 8000btu and 750cfm 8'' Vortex fan can't cool the cab then something is seriously wrong with me
