good first strain

as already mentioned, northern lights is all of the things you described in your opening post and more. She is extremely forgiving on all fronts; over/under watering, low light levels, over/underferting, and stress. I had some light leaks back during my first grow and she only spit out like 2 banannas total. Great all around plant as well, good yield and good potency. You really cant go wrong. Best of lcuk with whatever you choose :D

bagseed is definitely a good learning tool.......if youve never grown at all(learn the plant, its growth habits/your habits)

But im currently in a bagseed bonanza right now and i have about 2 or 3 of those looking pretty good with 1 of em smelling killer. But this is out of about 12 seeds..........ive had males, hermies, mutants, poor looking, and stalled growth(it stopped growing 1 week into flower).

Point is dont expect to get what you want from bagseed

Hello all,

My first grow was with NRS NL and POK freebie from Gypsy. They took all the abuse a first timer could give them. Had a good harvest-the quality is outstanding for the money. The yield left me wanting but don't expect stellar harvests your first time out-not that it can't happen.

As to bagseed- well, you have them now? I say start them and see what happens.

I am greming some outdoor bagseed from some damn good bud shake. A local Mendocino county strain. Its good to live near the Emerald Triangle.

Good luck friend,

I agree Northern Lights is the most stress resistant plant and is perfect for the new grower. My friend had a bunch of NL clones that he was planning on growing sitting around in his garge for the whole winter with no light - like 4 months! When he did finally place them inside under a light they looked like little bonzai tree's and were stunted to all hell from the cold, small pots, lack of light and water. After a week of veg in bigger pots they took right off and yeilded a nice little crop.

NL has good yeild, is short and squat and has a good potency. Best thing is it can take a beating and still produce. Just my experience, but most of us don't subject our loved ones to such terrible living conditions.

wats wrong with bagseed..??i have grown heaps of good bagseed..ive bought hundreds of dollars worth of seeds with limited sucess...all my bagseed grows have produced the goods...theres a simple reason..if ya only keep seeds from nice weed, then someone else has done the hard yards..just the fact alone that you paid for the weed that the seeds came from should tell you something...grow it all baby...if ya get a seed throw it in some dirt man...fuk...ya don't have to spend the big buck dude..
