I know there is alot of info on these threads, but I love books, and enjoy reading at night, so anyone have a good book they can recommend that's new ?

It's a great read, and I have no idea if the place still exists, but it's a great place to eat if you can handle it.

The Perfect Scoop, David Lebovitz. Ice cream bible. Good writer, too.

I'm pretty sure tincture would work fine for making ice cream - so many recipes call for 1-4 tablespoons of booze of one sort or another & you could just replace that with tincture. But I prefer to take my tincture, get high, & then eat insanely good food rather than eating insanely good food that gets you high an hour & a half later.

Btw, if you like reading about cooking, you must check out Kitchen Confidential by Anthony Bourdain.
