Panama x Haze is waving at you

I was expecting very thin leaves ... but not that clawed ... the plants seem to be happy, so is it expected that the leaves are so curved ?

Nitrogen toxicity, probably at veg. preflower stage, reason for leaves clawing

Thanks for your comment .
So I'm wondering now : as the plants seem to be green and not really badly evolving, is there something I could do to help the plants "unclaw" or it's somehow too late ?

Hi MedBelgUsr, there are a few factors that usually induce tropical sativas leaves to react in that way indoors.
Most common is excessive nitrogen, also not enough light intesity, too high temps, incorrect ph, or a blend of these variables.
I think in your case is mainly a nitrogen excess. Check the other mentioned variables just in case.

Yes, I think it could be a light nitrogen excess ( because the other factors seem to be fine : day temp is 23-24 / night 18-19 , the PH is in soil around 6.5 and the light is strong. Very strong ( over 1000 umole in the center measured with an Apogee lightmeter ) )

Strangely, I'm using some Advanced Nutrients line, at a dosage which is half the recommended dose and it still seems to be too much of nitrogen only.

Would you know a line/brand of nutrients that is light on nitrogen ?
I'm asking 'coz technically and physically, I can't prepare my own nutrients, so my only option is to turn towards a pre-made product.

Nitrogen toxicity,at this stage, has taken a little something away from the end smoke
I have used, once,Advanced Nutrients for PK boosting only, was very happy with the result
I wouldn't change anything with your next grow, apart from going even 'leaner' with the nutrient feed,in veg.. with Aces

Too bad : it means that the tasting experience wil be less good than if I had no nitrogen toxicity .... at least I hope the impact is somehow marginal.

The overall canopy for the 5 plants after 8 weeks of flo .... few weeks to go ...

Beautiful Panama Haze after 8 weeks of flowering MedBelgUsr :)

Rather than use soft fertilizers, better use a good fertilizer in the correct macro and ec dosage for a given plant. Although this is only fully understood when a clone is grown several times until learn what feeding regime works best for a given genotype.Don't worry, you are still on time to flush properly your plants from nitrogen excess and therefore correct any possible undesired taste from nitrogen excess, just make sure to don't add much more nitrogen until harvest time.

Thanks Dubi 🙂

Following multiple advices, I am trying to reduce the nitrogen : I have read the labels on the A & B nutrients and I have cut the nitrogen level significantly.

Would you say that after 8 weeks of flowering I could cut out nitrogen totally ?

You are welcome MedBelgUsr, coming from nitrogen toxicity yes, i would remove the nitrogen from your feeding from now onwards.
